My account was hacked over a month ago, i am still waiting for microsoft to resolve this, i have contacted them four times and they keep telling me to wait or make a new live account. Its been quite frustrating to say the least. _________________

With places that track your achievements online requiring you to link your Live /PSN accounts, perhaps it is security flaws in these third party websites that can add to the problem of your login info ending up in the wrong hands.

Those third party sites don't need your password, just the username to scan. I guess they could possibly obtain your email if you used the same one too. _________________

It is a scary New World of digital manipulation and theft. My brother got hacked two months ago, and I suspect it was of his own stupidity or plishing attempts. Microsoft took a full month and a half to lock it and hand it over. Pathetic job. I love the console and games but am disillusioned with them and Sony as to the future of protection of privacy in online gaming. _________________
