I'm tired of playing some games with a keyboard...
Can anyone suggest a gamepad for PC? I'm used to the 360 controller.
It would help if it was available from JB; I have vouchers.
Thank you! _________________

A 360 controller?
You can play PC games with one if you buy the adapter. _________________

Pretty much. Any wired 360 controller will work if you don't have the wireless adapter (you can't use the play & charge cord though because it doesn't transmit controller data). If you're lucky, your local GAME or EB will be selling a pre-owned wired pad for like $10 if you don't mind using a pre-owned pad. _________________

I'd very much recommend against using a pre-owned controller, especially now. Older 360 controllers will have looser sticks, the sticks will be worn down, the triggers might be loose etc. Not to mention all the crap that'd be in the cracks of the controller.

After installing the drivers, yup. Most games that support a controller already have the 360 controller properly mapped, it's basically the official controller for Windows.

I utilised a needle the other day and cleaned all of the shit out of my controller after four years. Nomnomnom... _________________

I replaced the sticks in a couple of N64 controllers a couple of weeks ago, and while I was at it I took everything apart and cleaned it thoroughly with alcohol. So much gross gunk but having nice clean controllers was totally satisfying _________________

PS2 controller + adapter = joy.
Although I have recently run across a game that, while it supports the 360 controller, won't support the PS2 controller.
Do Microsoft still make the wireless controller adaptors? I heard a while ago that they'd been discontinued. _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman

You would struggle to find an adapter separately, i think they still make the "controller + adapter" kits. But i have not really looked at the accessories section of most stores (EB etc) for a while. Dick Smith still sell wired and wireless Logitech controllers, i've had two different Logitech controllers over the years, (one basically ripped off the ps2 design.... but for pc) and they were pretty good for their price.
I purchased the pc Windows controller kit prior to buying my computer last year, adding it to my list of 360 controllers as well (sometimes i'll switch controllers, othertimes i'll just rotate the battery pack, or AA's inside one.... into the current one i am using).
I use a tooth pick to get between the gaps on my 360 controllers.

Another controller is the Logitech F710 or F310.
http://www.logitech.com/en-au/gaming/controllers
I purchased the F710 and it has a slide button to emulate a 360 controller or you can use the supplied software to setup any configuration you want.
