In other news, I did 4 achievements today and got 4 coal...
But I like the incentive because it's made me play and enjoy games I previously didn't consider. Really liking Renegade Ops, Jamestown, And Yet it Moves and Hard Reset.
Man, Hard Reset isn't the greatest game but what an impressive engine! Solid, silky smooth, great effects! And $5 today = winning!

Can you buy off the American store, or do you have a friend to get it for you? I'd love Skyrim for $37, be a great addition to my soon-to-be new PC :\
EDIT: Just got it gifted to me. It cost me less than my 360 copy is going to sell on eBay, I'm happy with this.

If you can't be bothered with Steam prices you can always add ?cc=US on the end of any steam store URL. If you want to get back to Australian prices, change it to ?cc=AU

Indeed, I think Steam has done a great job with this winter objectives thing. Jamestown is so much better than I was expecting. The same can't be said for And Yet it Moves and Atom Zombie Smasher though. Those games were a chore to get the achievement.

The achievement is a chore, yes, but the main game is actually pretty good.

Purchased Worms and Far Cry today
I've always wanted to play the original Worms game again, fondest memories (of that and Worms+Reinforcements) in the mid 90's.... Worms 2 and onward were fun, but i had the most fun in the original game.

So crafted my first lot of 7 coal into...
Golden Axe!!
A Megadrive game! Woohooo!!!
Anyway, after the tears were wiped away I went on to play Anomoly Warzone, thinking I was going to turn it off after getting the achievement. Really enjoyed the game (moreso than my iPad version) and ending up winning The Orange Box!
I don't need it but certainly makes me feel better
