Yeah that's surprising. I found AC2 to be an abysmal game, and playing Brotherhood directly after it was a breath of fresh air because it felt so much more polished and well structured. _________________

Alice: Madness Returns
Bought it for the surreal art and concept. The game was **** ugly, which was wat let me down in the first place. So much so that I thought there was something wrong with my 360. Was also incredibly choppy, dull and repetitive. Only lasted 8 hours in this game. |
I lasted a video review
I was really interested in it's dark twisted nature then when I saw the gameplay and heard the review I lost all interest in it. _________________ Welcome to the internet. Where any joke can turn into WWIII.

I haven't played Brotherhood but AC2 was one of my favourite games I have ever gone through.
Out of curiosity what did you think of AC1?

I hated AC1.
I hated Brotherhood purely because it felt like an overpriced DLC. _________________

I thought AC1 was cool for its time. Very repetitive and has genuine issues, but was interesting and very different. _________________

It just goes to show that great minds think alike. Sure, the first entry in the series wasn't perfect, but it was a decent game and I believe it is yet to show any wrinkles. _________________

I think AC 1's strength was really in it's ideas, but a lot of them didn't really pay off that well. The whole investigation, approach, run idea is great. But it turned into "Do these side quests, kill everyone in your way, then kill people untill they stop following you" It played like a game where the main character was supposed to be a fragile killing machine that could get in kill people and not take much damage, but they accidently designed a combat system that made him an unstoppable murder machine.
The later games seemed to kind of go "Eh fuck it" in that regard and designed more around the fact that in combat Ezio is pretty much unstoppable. _________________
