I came up against a wall in the final step of the Trooper story. There was a mob I just could not kill so I had to return to the barracks, retrain and drop some creds on better gear. Shame, I was going to expand my baf slots with those creds.

They have finally folded given a 48hour grace period after the 20th, so your early game access will now work until the 22nd.

Aaand the queues begin. Last night most of the servers were medium or light when I left. Woke up this morning, 80% of them are FULL, the rest are VERY HEAVY. Must have been a big round of emails last night.

I just feel sorry for the 8 Americans on The Swiftsure who have NO idea whatsoever that everyone on their server is not American.

They're already opening new servers (one in the EU, one NA west coast and one NA east coast), plus they've announced they'll be upping the pop cap as the player lvl base spreads. I'm not too worried about the queues.

If in doubt Jak Jek Taar is the secondary Oceanic PvE server.

I'll be rolling Republic on a PvE server, Harbringer or Jak Jek Taar by the sounds of it. December procrastinator though, still not in

(really I just didn't notice the early access key email until I came across it by mistake, at the last minute... fail)

Today alone BW have opened 11 extra servers.

Also bear in mind that the queues everyone (on Whingepool) are, er, whinging about, are on US west coast servers.

Now, 4:40pm EST, is 9:40pm US West Coast time, IE prime time. When Aussie prime time kicks off the queues will be lower or none existant. Hang in there.

Also, Harbinger, the server the PALGN guild was assinged, also apparently have a decent Aussie population. Nothing near as big as Swiftsure, but it may be a good back up server for alts.

I thought PALGN guild was going to be PvP orientated? I'm not gonna be rolling with my friends from Aion cause they're going PvP Empire, and I'm interested in Republic on a PvE server. I've been checking out other Aussie guilds but who knows, I will prob just play for a bit and check it all out before I join anything.

Finally have a chance to jump back onto SWTOR and wow 1 hour and 15 min wait to get into the harbinger server where my character is.

Im new to MMOs so this is a shock for me.

Edit* Even though it said an hour and 15 it took just over 2 hours.

This will get better. It will get worse first, to be sure. The game isn't even officially released yet, but with the three servers noted above, 15 new servers have been open since early access started, and BW have said they will raise the pop cap as the level range pans out.

MMOs often have this issue at luanch. It's a pain, but to be expected with such an anticipated game.

Well my CE arrived yesterday so i'm very happy with that. So glad EA and Amazon got it sorted and shipped earlier.

Anyone else out leveling their zone? I'm on Nar Shaddaa now (hitting third zone) and i'm level 26. There was so many quest on Balmorra and i'm one of those people that has to finish everything before moving on.

I'm Kalatia on The Harbinger (Empire) so if anyone needs a dps for flashpoint around my level give me a shout. Also looking for a guild as well if anyone is in a good one (non-hardcore preferably).

A combination of RL and server queues meant I couldn't get on Swiftsure until this mornign since last Thursday. When I get on I manage to get tot he last phase of the Trooper quest only to find I can't hand it in due a bug where the conversation bugs out and pauses.

Not particularly happy and had a leave a help request.

Also, due to the queues, I started a Sith Inquisitor I intend to take healing spec on Dark Reaper. I like my character (my Trooper is a goody-goody-two-shoes) as a fair but take no shit kind've guy, but I'm not too happy with the say the class plays. I think I'll have a go at an Agent soon. The Sniper class sounds fun.

I heard the IA/Smuggler class quest is really good which makes me want to roll it as an alt but i'm leaning towards a force user, probably knight/warrior to tank.

The smuggler is awesome. Second planet in is Coruscant, and it's frickin' huge! So much stuff to do. The one thing that bugs me is that each cut scene feels the same, walk up to someone, chat for a bit then move on. I'd love a game where the cut scenes actually feel like movie cut scenes, action and movement instead of awkward standing still while chatting shots. Maybe next gen, but don't take that as a criticism of SWTOR, I'm loving every minute of it so far.

I'm a Jedi Sage, and having so much fun with it. I'm naturally a healer-type player, and everything about the class and the storyline is so engaging, I've been completely immersed. I'm only level 17 but I level faster than I expect to, there's so much to do and it's actually interesting as opposed to the mindless grind I'm used to. I got my ship last night I was so damn excited xD
