Wait, What? What was wrong with the other game they made, the one you could chop watermelon? This looks nearly completely different.
But I suppose as long as you can still play in a 'stealth' mode, and do a no kill play through, I'm in.

This looks exactly the same?
Also why in gods name would you want to play this in stealth mode? It seems like trying to play Devil May cry with a no kill stealth play through?

Completely different is probably a major over reaction on my part. I've re watched the trailer a few times now (and rewatched the 2010 trailer) and they aren't that different, but they're not the same.
And it just wouldn't be a metal gear game if you couldn't play them with a no kill or no alerts run. It would be like getting half a game. Even if the game play is barely like other entries in the series. He'll if i though i could play DMC with a no kill run or stealth run, i would.

It's not a stealth game. It's not trying to be a stealth game, it's just another game set in the same universe. If you're expecting to be able to play it as a stealth game I imagine you're going to be verry dissapointed by the end results.

Didn't they say that despite its action you could do a non lethal run? Although I wouldn't be surprised if they dumped that idea now.

Bayonetta was ridiculously overrated. I wonder how many scrot shots they'll fit into this?
It's Metal Gear, so I'll be all over it, but expecting it to be on the wrong side of the shit scale.

Bayonetta had a more cohenerent storyline then all the metal gear solid games together.
And Bayonetta's storyline sucked balls.
Also if you're expecting it to be shit and still buy it then you're an idiot.

I thought it looked decent enough, it's a Metal Gear title, so of course it's bats**t over the top, but it reminded me mostly of Infinity Blade, which isn't a bad thing, so long as there's enough supporting content.

I imagine I will be. Looking at the games website, they mention that the game was originally envisioned as a mix of stealth and action (like previous metal gear titles), it now has " a more aggressive new focus on pure, exhilarating action". Can't blame the fans for expecting it to have been different.
But then, all we've seen is a 3 minute video that show's maybe a minute of game play in it. We've seen squat all. Suppose we'll know more when they release the Interview video on the 13th.
