You are perhaps the first person I've seen say that. I've heard nothing but good things about the game.

Zero - no need to get personal, show a little respect, eh? It's not a question of not being able to adapt, it's a question of Tekken in general being a shell of what it used to be. T3 and Tag 1 - SKILL based games. T4 onwards - random games, out of nowhere scrubs can get wins against higher level players. I don't know how good you think you are at Tekken, but if you truly know Tekken, you will know this is true. Not having a go at you, but it's fact. Why should I play something which rewards someone who can get lucky?
And I dislike Hybrid BECAUSE Tag 1 on it is the inferior PS2 version - NOT the perfect arcade version. But I'm happy to vs you, if you wish, on the inferior versions of PS2/PS3 to show you the difference in skill between you and I.
Peace.

I'm ok on BR, but it's still scrub Tekken. What happened to my offer of playing Tekken Tag? Hey, it's your call, I only offered mate.

I rarely touched Tag 1 as I wasn't introduced to Tekken properly until the 5/DR era, that's when I seriously started playing. And if you are to play me, since you know my name, yours would be? _________________

Well, if you haven't played Tag 1, then it wouldn't be very fair to you. I'm Colin, nice to meet you. Do you know some of the old Melb. Tag players? Or all they all gone now?

Not including quite a few indie games I've gotten through bundles etc, I guess Crackdown 2. It's not a bad game, but I've just bought so many great games this year, that it kind of pales in comparison. Only bought it to fill in the ~4 day gap before Battlefield 3 came out anyway

The console versions have some horrible issues with saves and general performance which is unfortunate, so not surprised to see some people get pissed off at it. _________________

Although it's not a release from this year, my choice would probably go to Borderlands, again. I decided to pick it up during the Halloween sale, as buying the GOTY edition on sale price would be cheaper than buying the DLC seperatly for the vanilla version I already have.
I wanted to try getting into it this time, but I really can't, it just doesn't click at all. I shoot about ten things before realizing that the grind in WoW manages to be more entertaining and I Alt+F4 in the knowledge that I wasted more money on it. _________________

While I really disliked Tekken 4 when I first played it, I love it now.
I also think Tekken 5 is the best Tekken after tekken 3. _________________ Welcome to the internet. Where any joke can turn into WWIII.

How did this turn into a tekken defense force thread?
My most disappointing game was probably Uncharted 3. It wasn't bad game at all but was a step down from 2 for me. I didn't nearly as much as enjoyment out of it then Among Thieves. _________________ Shin J Leon.

Dragon Age 2
The most frustrating thing is there were some great parts to the game but it was just rushed out the door. The fact there was only four dungeons that you repeatedly go through almost killed me. the dumbed down combat with its spawning enemies that made placement a non issue. The last act of the story is amazingly stupid. The way your choices from the first game meant nothing including characters that had 'died' coming back.
La Noire
I have never played a game in which it was so story driven that had this bad a story. Not a single character I was interested in.

Ive had some disappointments but its difficult to really pick a game I've bought this year that I could really say was bad. Its been a really good year in terms of quality, if you have the sense to read up on reviews and things anyway.
If we're not limiting it to games that have actually been released this year though I'm going with Splinter Cell Conviction. I bought it on steam recently. I'm a fan of the older Splinter Cell games, and as a Splinter Cell game its terrible. As a game seperated from the others its still mediocre! Dumbed down, short, finnicky, stupid game.

I didn't mind the game play of Conviction (except one point with no cover, a time limit and endless death) but the plot really annoyed me. I loved the start where it was this ex spy using his skills to F*** crap up but then it turned into Splinter Cell game with terrorists, the President and snore.

L.A Noire
Loved the vision, loved the tech - but it failed pretty miserably in the gameplay dept.

Likewise, L.A. Noire. I would've said Dragon Age II but luckily I didn't buy that, that's what friends are for (while true friends would've stopped said friends from buying it in the first place I guess).

If you play it like you're Jack Bauer it's actually pretty cool although Sam doesn't shout anywhere near as much. _________________

Without any doubt. Call of Duty MW3 for PC.
The single player had the only real reason for playing it killed off and the multiplayer is MW2.5, no dedicated PC servers. (spit) It's sad to say but Blackops is a better mulitplayer game.... _________________ XBL - myzz

Agree with Splinter Cell: Conviction. I think I played it late last year, but I'd have played it this year it'd be number on my shit scale. Seemed promising, but quickly turned into a clunky mess that was never sure of itself.
