That Louis Letrush guy is the subject of a weird bug where multiple clones of him appear outside of Whiterun.
I've got six of him standing near the stables there now. _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman

Did it fix it? Can I play again now? My lag was so bad that merely pulling out my sword causes the screen to stutter. I read that it only fixes new characters though which would be horrible because I am 34 hours in....
Edit: Downloaded, tested, sprinted through Whiterun. Works amazing....Goodbye life again. _________________

Destruction - 100
Conjuration - 100

Next up I'll probably be leveling sneak, one handed and light armour. Also managed to double enchant a full set of Elven Gear, a ring and amulet and now cast conjuration and destruction spells for free due to stacked reduction enchants.
Enchanting is to put it blunt **** insane with what it can do to stats. I have boots and gloves that give me 40% more efficiency with sneak AND pickpocket. |
Woah that's pretty sick Denny Question about destruction. My pretty lady is about level 30 and I'm sitting at 65 (ish) destruction. My 'fire rocket launcher' spell (I think it's fire ball or bolt) is pretty sweet but are there any more powerful fire spells?

75 will unlock purchases for Expert spells such as Incinerate, Thunderbolt and Ice Shard. So once you've hit 75, talk to Faralda at the college.
Also use the highest ranked spells you have to level Destruction faster. If you use lower tier ones like Novice or Apprentice instead of what tier you're in (adept) then it'll level much slower. _________________

I wonder if exp. is based on damage or use because then I could see stealth really destroying that balance.

Got a cool kill animation last night, was bashing an ice dragons face in with my dual maces when I mounted its head out of nowhere. My character continued bashing it in the eye while trying to keep his balance, looked completely badass in my full Daedric set. The poor dragon finally just gave up and died. _________________

Stealth seems to only level whenever a mob fails a spot check against you. _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman

^ I've leveled up the sneak by just being undetected and hanging around in the shadows while a bandit sits at a campfire with his back to me. I think sneak attacks also build your sneak.
Slightly related, you can do up your illusion quickly, whether enemies are around or not, by using 'muffle' twice in a row, waiting for an hour, using 'muffle' twice again, and repeating that a few times.

Sneak builds up slowly when sneaking around enemies, and gets enormous boosts when you do a sneak attack, particularly melee ones. The fastest way to level it is to sneak attack people with a blade. There are certain ways to do that really fast.
Pickpocket is leveled based on the value of item you steal. If you're Pickpocket is at like 20 and you steal something worth 800, you'll go up a few levels in Pickpocket.
Most of the thief sign skills are leveled this way. Speechcraft is arguably the slowest one to level. _________________

If you level your pickpocket enough, you can just buy the levels for whatever you want, then pickpocket the money straight back. _________________

Fixed occasional issue where a guest would arrive to the player’s wedding dead . Lol.
Those last few PC fixes look great but part of me thinks they should have payed attention more to the PC version. I mean the mouse doesn't work in conversations half the time.

Yeah, Denny is on the money with Sneak leveling there - I jumped up a heap of levels while sneaking my way around a Dwemer ruin last night. Finding a good hiding spot and slowly whittling down a large group of Falmer with my bow helped significantly, but simply sneaking past a lot of the active automaton dispensers ranked me up too.
Sitting around 72 on level 17, feeling close to ninja.
Lockpick ranks up similarly to pickpocket in that regard, too - I love seeing my skill jet up after picking an Expert or Master lock _________________

Now that I have leveled up destruction I think this character is done, all I have done since I started skyrim today is shout clear sky and shoot lighting at the heavens. So farewell Katara the Nord, who destroyed Alduin, became a master of destruction, was Arch mage and crushed the stormcloak rebellion with help from her ally a mighty dragon.
I'm thinking of playing a straight up melee guy with no fast travel, sticking with iron armor who never buys anything or enters cities. Any name suggestions?

So I am now stuck. One of those floating enemy things from a coffin has trapped me in a room. It kills me in about 3 seconds, and my attacks do so little damage, it takes a couple to even see its health go down. I don't know what to do :\

Lower difficulty, try scrolls, reload a previous save, use poison.

Except I'm pretty far into a temple, so I'd have to run and hope I can get to the exit, except it kills me in about 3 seconds with magic. I ran into the last room, where I got another Word, but now it's just outside, and I pretty much have to run into it to get out. I could try lowering the difficulty, I'll see if I can get past it any other way first, that just feels kinda cheap :\

Ah, yeah, that's a shit... I've only come across one guy like that guarding some words, and after trying to battle it a few different ways I just absorbed the words and fucking legged it while my follower kept it busy. Luckily it is territorial, and just left us to pissbolt (even though I'd looted it's chest and taken teh words... ) _________________

You're fighting a Dragon Priest. They're generally about 10 times tougher than most mobs, but also drop amazing masks.
Try reloading from an autosave prior to it.

I've been doing that for about a week on master, heaps fun. I called mine Dovakhiin because I got lazy. Though Dovakhiin the Dovakhiin sounds pretty funny.
Also, my main character Dake now has 100 in Sneak and Lockpicking too. _________________

This is pretty awesome just being free from all the extra stuff. I pretty much have fell into using giant warhammer. I might change the iron thing and switch it to whatever I find or make but for now iron it is. I named him Jekel the Mad and I'm playing him as a pychopath. I murder whoever I find dam the consequences. I forget just how scary the game is at lower levels. It feels like everything can kill me. Also I regret not using heavy armor as it's quite powerful. I feel like a tank.
