Seriously this event would garner so much more press than if she hadn't said it. Not only that, but advertising to the direct opposition.
Masterful Sony, masterful.

There are other sites (such as NCSX and Yes-Asia for example), but they're roughly around the same price (if not more) _________________

Any idea on the prices for the extra memory on release? No way you can get a Vita without a memory card.

I don't think 3G will work well for games, maybe has a store/buddies system.
I can't imagine games being playable with Australia's poor network. _________________ Shin J Leon.

I used Amazon to buy my 3DS console. They're reliable, and the shipping is pretty quick. I'll probably be buying my Vita from them.
Looks like I'll be getting the Wi-Fi model of the Vita. The extra 3G freatures seem amusing, but we'll be paying through the nose for them, and the reception will probably be patchy. _________________

The problem is amazon states on the 3DS and PS Vita pages that they only ship to the US. did they just start this? or do they just not enforce it?

Anyone (who I know, you know the awesome ppl who've met me or just plain love me) who's interested in a PS Vita, I may be able to help you get a unit while I'm overseas.
I'm going to Japan and Hong Kong during December, I'll be in Japan on launch day and I'll be in Hong Kong about a week after it launches (it officially launches in Hong Kong on the 23rd of Dec - I'll be there around the 30th) in that region.
I should also be able to pick up some Vita games too in while I'm in HK and there probably be more of a chance the titles will have english in them.
I won't be back in Melbourne for ages, so chances are I'll have to send it to you from where ever I am.
If you're interested just shoot me a pm and we hash out the details. _________________

People's thoughts on the memory card prices? I don't think we have Australian prices yet, but $120 for the 32gb is excessive. Might start off with 4gb.
