The UK edition is supposedly censored in some scenes though. _________________

Anyone still watching? Man I wish someone would slap Andrea already, she is really annoying, more so than Carol. _________________

It has been a bit slow, but still enjoyable.
I really didn't like the Merle (?) scenes though.

Meril or what, yeah.
Although the redneck (darryl) hes probably my favourite character.
A crossbow zombie killing warrior who isnt an asshole and doesnt ever have second thoughts that may extend pointless scenes for 5 minutes. hes just goes out and does shi...stuff.
*Spoiler?*
And that "Someone" i think hes talking about the little girl?
Fairly certain she wouldnt be there, seeing as the doll was found in the lake. + the people in the barn are probably the neighbours and friends, hoping a cure would be found. _________________

I powered through the first six episodes of season two last night, thinking that would be all the episodes for the season because the first had only six. Then after watching all six I Googled and realised there's one more next week, then another six starting Feb. Feel a bit special for that one.
Anyway, season started off great in my opinion, but kinda boring overall. Season one had a lot more random going on. Haven't read the comics but am sure there is much more awesome to come. _________________

Show is slowly winding down into yet another boring soppy family drama with life lessons thrown in, with a zombie backdrop. Less sop, more zombies please, it's slowly turning into Falling Skies/Terrable Nova with this crap. Hopefully it's all a setup for after the break, where it'll hopefully pick up.

I'm with Mr Cool. The story is far more full on in the comics. I haven't seen a single kid get decapitated yet... _________________ I'd be apathetic, but I can't be arsed.

^ Oh man, those pesky KIDS. Season two has been very kidcentric.
I was hoping to hell they would just get rid of them and thus be faster and more awesome at killing zombies. Then at one point someone says to someone (I forget who) "they are our most valuable resource these days" or something.
What is this, Children of Men? Kill zombies ffs. _________________

Yeah it makes me yawn. In the comic it's more like a major character bites the dust in every trade paperback. Lots of unexpected deaths. _________________ I'd be apathetic, but I can't be arsed.

Every tv show does this, they make awesome episodes at the start and end. then fill a bunch of crap in the middle and wonder why their ratings are going down.
Too much family love in all these tv shows (I love terra nova, but dammit, i hope the girls in that family get eaten or accidently shot in the head)
Instead of "Oh crap a dinosaur!" its like "Oh look bunny, its a cute and cuddley dinoswar, yes honey cake, you can touch it, haha, so cute"

Found an awesome site where a bloke writes up his own reviews on every episode. Hard to argue against anything he says, as everything is pretty spot on. Pretty much over this show after reading these reviews.
His review for 'Ever done it in a Hayloft?' is below, the episode I hated most this season. Pretty funny and worth a read:

I've never read the novels, but the thing that irks me the most is apparently my favourite character on the show (Darryl, crossbow guy) and his brother, aren't even in the graphic novels? Seems like they're cutting out some cool moments from the novels and replacing it with other stuff, in order to get a few seasons out of it? Also heard some storylines from the novels have essentially been thrown out the window based on how the zombies behave in the TV show compared to the novels? Jumping fences in first season etc.
Correct me if I'm wrong though, but this is what I've read in some other forums.

Ep7 spoilers (well not really but if you thought about this post enough you might work something out)
The ending made sense Cavedog, and holy shit was it fantastic, this is probably an over reaction induced partly by the hangover I have right now, but that ending has left me sitting here in tears. For that alone, I'll forgive them for having a few slow episodes, that thinking back, in a way were maybe just trying to build up for that moment. _________________

It didnt make sense, theres no reason why that girl should of been in the barn. and if she did manage to walk by and be caught by the farmer, then he would of told everyone else, so that they could leave quicker and not ask anything from him.
Doesnt make sense. CLEARLY the farmers found a little zombie girl hours before everyone found the farm and started asking for help to find a little girl that was lost and may of been turned into a zombie.

Spoilers below re: Cavedog
| Quote: | Otis was the one who put walkers into the barn from what Hershel said while they roped those two stuck in the pond. The topic of Sophia or a missing girl didn't come up iirc until after the rest of the group arrived at the farm the day after Otis died. I don't think Rick, Lori or Shane brought up Sophia until after Carol and the others arrived. They were too preoccupied with Carl's condition.
My guess is that Sophia was bit before Carl was shot. Otis found Sophia, stuck her into the barn. Some time later Carl's shooting took place. I don't think Otis had any time between shooting Carl and heading to the school to find Sophia and stick her in the barn.
It's possible Hershel didn't know about her being in there. I'd have to imagine the question will be raised next February when the show resumes. If he did know I'm sure veins will pop out of Shane's forehead. |

Spoilers below:
Even if Hershel did know she was in there. He had reason to keep it secret. He thought of them as sick people that may be able to be cured in the future. He would have known that the others would kill all of them regardless of Sophia being in there if he told them. _________________

Season 3 confirmed for 16 episodes. Season 3 will be split in half, like season 2.
I can't wait to see the prison arc.

Everyone see Darabont proposed Season 2 Opener?
It was pretty much going to be a prelude to main story, covering the fall of Atlanta, A military team dropping in to the city, and make they're way to a extraction point and secure it. But obviously, shit doesn't go as planned, and the team drop off one by one. Over the course of the story, they'd drop in some of the series regulars in the mess, surviving.
I though i saw someone link to something related here, but its not in this thread. _________________

i have been pretty much ignoring this show and having read about what is going on, i am glad i stopped watching after episode 1, they seem to have missed the point of the comic entirely.
What is really annoying is they seem to be destroying any chance of anything like this being made again when they had a good chance to do this one right from the start, arg _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill
