I upgraded to the xbox slim a while ago and transferred everything from my old one to my the slim and have only just found out that my partner can play peggle but not peggle nights. Both peggle and nights were purchased on my old console and she could play both of them with no problems. Is there any reason why she cant play nights?

can you just re download peggle nights? It should be saved on your x-box live account wich will let you re download it again for free. _________________

When you download something on XBL, anyone can play it on the console you downloaded it on and only you can play it on other consoles.
To solve this problem you can transfer the DRM rights to your new console, which will allow anyone to play it on the new console. You can do this once every four months. You can transfer licenses in the below link.

Me: How do I find for a new job while I'm still working at a current job I plan to leave but need for a reference?
Currently working at a pub on the Sunshine Coast 10-30 hours a week. Trying to find work in Brisbane. 'Moved in' to a place in Brisbane last week and was planning to start job searching, I was only getting 12 hours a week at the current job so that seemed easy, now all of a sudden my current job is giving me a lot more hours and it's really hard to find the time to be in Brisbane at all now, so I'm paying rent for a place I'm not living in which sucks.
Also I want to use my current employer as a reference for a future job as I've worked there the last year and I'm a well liked employee, but I don't think they want me to leave so I feel a bit funny using them as a reference.
Kind of an awkward situation, I feel like my current job has me stuck and preventing me from moving forward. I can't stay because I get treated like **** (paid **** part time rates, treated casual, no breaks, not really any possibility of ever moving up, etc.), I'll probably be back to next to no hours come early next year and most importantly I want to live in Brisbane for both education and lifestyle reasons.
FalconDude: Puddingfork I think you posted in the wrong forum.
Anyway I would quit the job on SC immediately. Ask them to give you a reference. Then move into the place you are currently paying rent for in Brisbane. If they refuse the reference, its no biggy. I have found most employers these days are not that fussed about references. Because most employers are pissed off about people who leave and don't want to do it most the time.
Try your best to get work in Brisbane. If you cant within a week or 2 then apply for payments from centrelink. All you need to tell them is you moved to Brisbane to find a full time job as you couldnt live of the part time work you had at SC. The payments will help you get buy untill you find work.
Me: God damn it, this is the second time this month I've done this :/
Can a mod move the posts?
EDIT: Thanks heaps Falcon, my fellow costlander
I hadn't actually considered centerlink worst case scenario as an option, that's not a bad idea though, I'll look into it, cheers.

If you explain to your SC job that you're quitting not because you're looking for something better but because you're moving to Brisbane for study and can't reasonably make the commute to work there, they should hopefully be okay with it and give you a reference, too? After all, if you're moving to Brissy, they can't expect you to come out to the SC every night _________________

yeah if you tell your boss that you're quitting because you're moving then I doubt they're going to be pissed at you enough to not do a reference. _________________

Sorry if this has been asked before.
Here's a scenario,
1x Playstation 3 (sharing 2x PSN account of the same region)
1x 360 (1 account and possibly another 360 account of the same region)
Will account #1 play digital games and use downloaded dlc from account #2 (PS3 and 360) on the same console?
From what I understand, PS3 it is possible because it is tied to console and not possible on the 360 because it is tied to account, right? _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

On PS3, yes, apart from a very few games which require you to be logged into the same account you bought the content with.
On 360, content is usually licensed to the account and the first console you downloaded it to. On that first console anyone can play it, on other consoles you can only play it if you're logged in, eg. if you go around to someone else's place you can log in and play your content on their console. If you get a new console you can transfer the licence. _________________

you can use what ever content with the appropriate game from the appropriate region , and unless it has some DRM it should be fine how ever if it gets deleted/ lost then you will have to redownload it using the ACC that it belongs to _________________

A while ago someone posted a link to a site that sells shirts with obscure cult references to made-up companies in movies. i.e Offworld or Nakatomi.
Can't remember it for the life of me.
EDIT: Nm found it http://www.lastexittonowhere.com/, such an awesome site. _________________

I've only ever bought one car before - the crap-heap Excel my parents gave me to drive which I bought off them when leaving home. My wife bought our current car off my parents when they wanted a new one, so she's not much help either.
Looking at buying last-year's demo off a dealer for a decent discount. Could use some ideas what sort of questions or things I should be asking about. |

This is also a good site to consider when buying a car, although you may want to look into your respective state/territory's department of consumer protection. _________________ Contributor @ http://www.esperino.com/

Anyone know how to contact Facebook directly? There is some fuckwad who has made a duplicate profile to mine and is adding people in order to view their private profiles. I've reported the problem over 15 times with the 'report' button, but fucking facebook never sends me sms code. I have reported it through copyright infrindgement and other 'forms' that you can submit, but only get auto replies which do nothing to stop the problem. Please tell me there is a way to contact facebook, I've pissed off a lot of people, even though it's not my fault! _________________

Some legal stuff for my First Home Owner Grant application. My other half is the 2nd applicant, will he be my de-facto partner if we never lived together atm (will be when we settle in but not yet) even if we have been in the relationship for 6 years?
Something said no but knowing I might get into trouble for "misleading", I wonder if anyone here knows the answer since this is out of trading hours so I can't annoy some Gov employee. _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

LOL! , an IT Pro is not a pro if they can't use Google!.
I have just over-analysed it the time. I googled it to the department where I am applying the form to, the NSW Gov's Office of State Revenue (http://www.osr.nsw.gov.au/benefits/first_home/faqs/fhogs/spouse/). They had "A de facto spouse is a person, who is living with the applicant as a couple on a genuine domestic basis (irrespective of gender)."
In the present time, that will be a no but the time of moving in, yes. (I created confusion by taking in the time of moving in into consideration). _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

So more asking for peoples opinions than a question. Magic 2012 is on sale for 400MSP right now and was wondering if the upgrades worth it for that price if you have the original? I bought the first one, enjoyed it but never beat it. Is 12 a noticeable upgrade, same ol' **** or a step down?
Cheers. _________________

Can anyone recommend a free, automated program for backing up DVDs to Xvid .AVIs?
I'm getting real sick of digging out DVDs from my collection. Last time I bothered doing something like this I had about 5 different programs I had to use and given how many DVDs I'd like to convert that would take me forever. _________________

It depends on your definition of automated.
I have Divx Author. Not free though, it costs $20.
