Finished the story in about 2 hrs 15min (the recommended time of 6 hrs is a lie) and took it back the same day. No where near an acceptable price, maybe I'd have kept it for 35-40 dollars at a stretch.
Awesome idea, they should have had racing hubs in each major city, and instead of being on the run, this race was held at some regular interval. That so, the entire game would have been the last event that you were buying cars and parts for to win.
There's just no way in the games current state its worth 98 dollars. Great idea, execution was abysmal. Do EA they even test games before selling them these days?

Still a bit disappointed. Trying to be to be too flashy. NFS has to me always been very basic, drive nice cars really fast, avoid pursuing police, race against others and thats it. No story line or movie bits. Just racing. Get back to the basics and everyone will be happy. Thats my opinion anyway. I'd score it a 6. Nice try, but missed the mark.

Sounds like I'll give this a miss and maybe just dig out Hot Pursuit or Burnout Paradise when I next feel like a fun racer. _________________

Yeah, I think I'm giving this a miss, too. With so many quality games coming out, I can hold out for Criterion's next effort, be that Burnout or NFS.

7 sounds high for the review/comments...
i only played this for five mins, so i cant really coment much but i didnt like the sloppy handling and the way evreything stretches when u accelerate...
i guess they spent all theyre time and money on advertising and making pores in peoples faces look realistic.
