It was 4AM and I was tired. It may have been far more amusing to me at the time. _________________

I can see that quest being fucking amazing at 4am.
My faviourte thing about it was like the day after I did it, was sneaking through the earl of whiterun's castle and found a book about the wabberjack on one of his shelfs, reading is a story about a guy trying to summon the god of inteligence and reasoning and getting the crazy one and slowing going insane, it ends on a full page of him just writing wabberjack over and over again. _________________

I have played 52 hours now. Still haven't touched the main quest, the war and most of the guild's. I have cleared 49 dungeons and discovered 120 places. Parts of my map still look blank. I mostly do misc quests. Over 120 of them done but i have finished 46 proper quests. Destruction is at level 90 however with over 450 magika i still run out. Lucky most things die pretty quickly. This game is kind of insane just in how much content.

Was attacked by two dragons last night and thought I was toast, literally. However, with a couple of mammoths and a giant keeping them busy, I was able to kill both of them, but didn't get any souls. The bodies just sat there, didn't burn up or anything. Is this a glitch or what? I know that not all types of dragons have souls, but these were blood dragons.
I want my goddamn dragon souls!

Afaik it's not a bug. I usually don't get souls when it's a specific dragon from a certain area that I've killed a few times already. Or maybe it actually is a bug. _________________

That sounds like a bug.
Am now rolling with my wife, a talking dog and a conjured froze spirit thing. I feel pretty unstoppable.

The dog is invincible in combat, so he's extremely useful for tanking, but I finished his quest pretty quick cause you can't sneak with him (and for the Daedric artifact you get). You're a mage though so you may want to keep him. _________________

He is annoying at spots but I can still sneak with him, just the indicator doesn't work properly as he always knows where I am. Also done a bit of the main quest. So far pretty similar to Oblivion main quest. Got an awesome shout where I can clear the weather. Love being in a snow storm, shouting at the sky then seeing the world open up. Have now started reading the books more. The lore is incredibly deep and I think even a mortal actually found at he was in a video game.

Anyone else noticed how you can completely break the game by combining Smithing, Enchanting and Alchemy? You can use Alchemy to brew a Fortify Enchant potion to boost enchanting, then enchant some armour or accessories to boost Alchemy, then go back and make an even stronger potion to boost Enchanting. So on so forth until you hit the max.
With your uber enchanting you make Fortify Smithing armor and accessories (29% each) and a Fortify Smithing potion (120%+). With your godly Smithing you can use the workbench or grinder to make Legendary armor and weapons with ridiculously high damage and defense. Kinda crazy how they didn't set a damage/defense limit. _________________

Yeah it's nuts what you can do with those three trees put together. You can also use full enchant with some smithing to make robes for mages where you can cast spells without any mana cost due to the spell cost reduction enchant. So much crazy shit. _________________

To be fair, you've been able to do stuff like that in all the Elder Scrolls games at least as far back as Morrowind. I think Bethesda essentially encourages breaking the game in that way.
In unrelated news, there's now a workaround for the patch that disabled LAA support. _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman

^They capped your max armour rating to 85% in Oblivion, damage was uncapped, but vanilla Oblivion scaled weapons in a fairly stingy way. By that I mean giving you minor advancements through class and skill, limiting your potential. You could go into the editor and set damage and speed on particular weapons if you wanted.
You could break Oblivion with 100% chameleon or 100% magic resist, but the sheer numbers you can get on damage and defense in Skyrim is insane. _________________

Posted that after only glancing at the page
But that banner and the article titled "Is Fat-Jowled Chuffiness The New Standard for Democrats?" and link to an article called "The definitive guide to women" that had a picture of Richard Simmons also gave it away. _________________

I am darkness. I am the night. I am the... uh, Nightingale?
Really?
Thieves Guild questline is awesome, and the armour you get is awesome, but... Nightingale? _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman

A Night To Remember quest was pretty awesome, clearly inspired by the Hangover. Look for a dude named Sam in any of the major city inns. _________________
