Does anyone know if anyone else besides EB is selling the Zelda LE? Looking for a price match if possible. |
JB and Dick Smith both have it. Big W, Kmart and the like will probably have it too. _________________

Anyone know if Zelda will require an update that will disable the homebrew channel?

It does require 4.3, which has been recommended against upgrading to. (4.3 has been around since June, If you've already got it, then there are no worries.)
A USB Loader bypasses the need to update, which is what I use, I think it's one of the easier ways to avoid having to update.
However Wiibrew does have information on other ways of bypassing the need to update as well as running Homebrew on 4.3. _________________ "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."

Long story short:
Update the Homebrew Channel before you stick the disc in and you'll be 100% OK. _________________

LE was $149 at JB. I thought it was $129! Was horrified. _________________ Shin J Leon.

That's what I thought, I will be going back in tomorrow to have words. Might have been a glich in the system.
I didn't know what to do, I asked the chick and she had no idea what the price should be. Hopefully they'll just credit me back the $30 from the reciept. _________________ Shin J Leon.

This is actually a time when I decided to pre-order with EB Games be worth it considering I'd have to buy Motion+ anyway.
I missed out on being able to pick it up this evening, which sucks 'cause everyone else I know that wanted it has got it.
It was $118

It'd have to be a glitch, one of my friends picked it up from JB and it was $119.
Also, your situation really sucks, I'd hate to be told it was $30 or so more than I expected.
Hope it works out. _________________ "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."

Should be OK I assume, they should just refund the money. Or will they. Tomorrow I will find out...
Actually I got SFIV for 3DS for $20 cheaper then I should at the same store. They seem to have problems getting the prices right on their stock.
Jarrod, you work at JB right? Am I going to get my money back or am I going to have dramas...I've already open the game and inserted the batteries. _________________ Shin J Leon.

Bring in the docket to prove you've been incorrectly charged and, to my knowledge, you will get refunded. I'm not entirely sure on that so don't quote me, as I'm new and a pleb and haven't had to deal with such things, but yeah, I'm preeettttty sure if they've overcharged you can quite easily get a refund on the overcharge without any dramas.
Also, like the rest of Australia, I picked up my LI today. Though I've been playing the game for some time .

Game is stupidly awesome. If anybody says the game needs voice I will get angry. There is so much emotion in just the text and facial expressions.
There is something magical about this game I can't put my finger on. I WANT to play it.
Yeah cool, I'll print out the webpage price and take my receipt in tomorrow. Hopefully they refund me the $30. Feeling pretty dumb about this. _________________ Shin J Leon.

LeonJ you should be all good to go in and get your money back, by the looks of it they must of just accepted the price in the system at $149 since that was the set RRP. Could have been anything from just a new Xmas Casual on the til not knowing the price to the game people not advising the counter staff on what the price should be.
Got home today after picking it up at work. Replugged in my Wii to the TV thinking I might just check it out for a little bit, ended up forcing myself to stop 5 hours later. Very awesome games, liking the motion control on it. _________________

No need to print anything out. The Limited Edition $119 in all JB stores, so just take in your receipt to prove what you were charged/changed and you should be smooth sailing.
And yeah, Nintendo did an excellent job of conveying the character's emotions without voices. Zelda is wonderful, and I really love Groose. He does have the sweetest pompadour in town. There's some scenes with him later in the game that are just wonderful. _________________

Looking at Skyloft from a distance, or over large vistas, and having the filter kicks it in really nails the oil painting look. Very, very pretty. _________________

Awesome awesome awesome. I know rhe controls are good but damn RSI really spoiling it for me (right wrist). Got it 4pm yesterday which was nice. After this, Im taking hiatus from gaming (to surf all year and months in indonesia) till Wii U. Damn wish had classic controller mode I really, really hate motion control. Love the game though and will suffer it once more (rsi). See you all at Wii U. Laters, enjoy! _________________

Love the game, but tell me before I go mad. Text speeds up when you hold A... Yes. But does it go faster still if you hold B?
