If you experience a crash, hit me up and I'll upload my backup .exe for you and anyone else really. It doesn't affect everyone so you might not get it, but yeah I wasn't too happy. _________________

Denny, you been following Haydn's fix on WSGF?
Works a charm. And what kind of framerates are you looking at at 5760? _________________

I'm running at 5040.
Framerates are..eh. Usually in the 40-50s but can dip in the 30s and skyrocket at points. It still feels finnicky though as the fix still isn't fullproof. Better than nothing, though I usually just end up single screening with Skyrim as it feels more comfortable. _________________

I've fixed it by disallowing the game from not updating on steam and using my backup exe from the previous version, but holy **** Bethesda, what a dumb move.
In other news though, I've managed to make my game look ridiculously nice and run fairly well too. It's not friendly to SLI/CFX setups and has poor scaling. |
Whaaattt? They removed the large address awareness patch? What are they mental? That was the only fix that actually let me play this game.

To those on PC.
Just found this:
It's a overhaul of the menu system. I found it works a treat!
(Ignore the font in the pictures, that is the original posters font. Looks shit-house in my opinion.) _________________

Doesn't look that much different to me? Just eliminates going back and selecting which item types you want to go through? It needs a 'sort' function by weight/value/damage etc. I'm having no trouble the way it is now though.
Also, this shield seems fitting for the game:

why does the first screenshot that shows 'apparel' being selected still display his cabages and potions?
That seems less usefull to me if it gets rid of the sorting. _________________

Cast Fury on a chicken so that it attacked the farmer, got an arrow through the head for my troubles.

I tried the new inventory. Did not like it at. Loved the oncept but that inventory system isn't as function as the original which kind of misses the point. Most of my days in Skyrim are doing quests but I haven't touched the main quest or the side stuff at all.

Have you started the main quest a little?
I didn't touch it for my first 16 hours and didn't find a dragon. You need to activate them via the main quest. _________________

I did the first run of the main quest right away. Started fighting dragon almost immediately.

I've been lucky so far, my PS3 save file is about 7.5mb and my game still runs fine. *Touches Wood* _________________

So when I finally get my copy from OzGameshop and activate it through Steam (shouldn't have to do this IMO) it will be more unplayable than launch-day + extra DRM?? _________________

FWIW I haven't had an issue yet - except for being caught out by multiple melee pricks when I should have been more stealthy, that is...
No Performance/stability/DRM issues though. _________________

It's not a universal issue, so don't worry too much about it. If it does happen there are numerous fixes online.
Also I did the Mind of Madness questline last night. Probably one of the best quest lines I've ever gone through in a game ever. Fucking awesome. _________________
