I've decided to not get 13 straight away, I am going to wait and see how it plays online etc, got so many other games to play, Is fun having a quick bash on 2002 though.

I feel sooo rusty, it feels like ages since I last played a beat em up

It's going to be $70 RRP for 13, so I can't say no. I highly doubt the online will be rubbish. They patch to 12 actually made the game playable online, so if they build on that it should be fine.

Classic Iori and old-skool KOF music ftw!

I'll be getting XIII and will play it religiously without any regard for how online play is. I've grown up being an arcade gamer so I definitely won't need it. I'm fortunate that most of my close friends choose KOF as their preferred fighting game series.
