EBGames has cave story 3DS set for release on November the 24th (here).
This clashes with both Super Mario 3D Land and Skyward Sword.
Originally I was interested in this, primarily because it was supposed to come out earlier this year when good games for the 3DS were hard to find. I feel it's somewhat missed the boat. _________________ "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."

I'll take a preorder on Mario 3D land and Mario Kart 3DS instead, hes like... Ohhhhhhhhhh...Kay then......... and Im like, those plushes freebies look AWESOME ^_^.
Anyway, now will be overloaded on the 24th. I think Im gonna be sick the next day............... _________________

November, overall, is insane. I can't wait. I'll happily get... Gamesick? ... for all the awesomeness that November holds.
Anyway, here is a nice comprehensive video on many of the new features available in Mario Kart 7 (many of which I wasn't even aware), by David from 3DSBlog.
PALGN should totally make a Mario Kart online community thing. _________________ "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."

Anyone else importing Tales of the Abyss?
It's a reason to play 3DS again.

I can confirm Tetris 3DS is an awesome package, plenty of game modes, online leaderboards and multiplayer, AR modes and classic Tetris music. Also plays rather effectively (but not overly crazy) in 3D, and one cartridge can provide multiplayer support.

It was the first thing I did when I powered up the console the first time. _________________

So many great 3DS games coming out over the next three weeks. Mario Land and Mario Kart are a given, but then there's Cave Story, Shinobi, Sonic Generations, Lego Harry Potter looks good and NFS: The Run will hopefully be better than Ridge Racer. And after all that, there's still a new Professor Layton for DS in december, Solatorobo too, and Kirby Mass Attack just came out.

Given the clamshell design, removable faceplate (I think) and the fact that screen protectors look like anus, I'd say no. Although a microfibre cloth to stick between the two screens would be a good investment. I know some of the launch models got scratched top screens simply by being closed with nothing in between the top and bottom half. _________________

Has anyone found Cave Story? I can't find it anywhere, and according to EB, it isn't available through them at all.

Ordered it off JB Hifi, apparently it's an exclusive to them now, though EB had no idea.

$69 is incredibly pricey but from what I gather, it's something that is seriously limited in stock and no other stores, brick and mortar/online or otherwise will not sell.
I don't care, I need this game!

I wonder just how many copies of Tales of the Abyss actually get released in Australia?
Like 1000? Or more like 10000?

I'd say it's closer to 1000, since it's a Tales game. _________________

Got my copy of Tales the other day from JB, really enjoying it so far, I don't often play RPG's so this is an interesting experience, but a nice change of pace.
