A bunch of questions for you all;
(background information; I'm currently SL 71)
1) I don't have enough faith to join the Warrior of Sunlight covenant, and I want to because I want those miracles. At SL 71 on the first play through, where would the best place be to help out other players. I tried Seath but noone was there.
2) If I join the Path of the Dragon covenant, where is the best place to duel other people?

OropherX and I tried to coop the Duke's Archives but it wouldn't work. I think there is some pre-req to that area before it lets you summon other players and vice versa.
I found lots of coop going on in the New Londo Ruins but you need to drain the water first (or maybe the host only needs to do that).

Painted World of Ariamis will net you a lot of summons. So will Anor Londo and New Londo Ruins.
As for Path of the Dragon PVP, the unofficial designated place is the hidden bonfire just outside the PVP forest in Darkroot Garden. Keep in mind that farming dragon scales off people is quite rare as most people burn theirs as soon as possible, so it might be better off for you to just go through NG+ and get the remainder.
Normal summons are directly tied to your Soul Level with a 10% level leeway above and below so if you want constant summons, hold off levelling and stay that SL until you get enough to join the Sunbros.

Thanks WarAdept. For Anor Londo, I'm assuming you mean the Darkmoon boss? If so, should I just place my sign down at the door?

So does the Drake sword. Not quite the same reach, but not exactly a task to get a mozzie with it either. _________________

There are 3 main places in Anor Londo. The bridge with the Spiral Staircase, just before Gwyndolyn and just before Orstein and Smough. You'll probably have the most luck at O&S.

I have a chraacter that is my "Indiana Jones" character where he dual wields a Fire and Lightning whip. It's not effective against high armour targets, but damn is it fun. Waiting to dual wield the Notched Whip for inflicting bleed happiness.

There's also a restriction that was implemented where people are now separated into groups and can only play with each other if they're in the same 'group'. Whether or not you get into the same group with your friend to my understanding is based on your ping, so that's a second barrier you have to pass in addition to getting into roughly the same soul level (10% restriction). You have to hope you're in the same group with your friends or else you won’t be able to co-op with them. _________________ Recently Finished: Legend of Heroes - Trails in the Sky (8/10)

^Just keep placing your soul sign down until your friend sees it. Every time you place it down, it'll advertise in a different server so keep at it every 30 seconds or so and you should get connected with your friend (assuming you're within 10% of each others SL).
I did this several times last night to help a mate get through Sen's and then O&S, worked nearly a dozen times. _________________

After thinking "HOLY SHIT DRAGONS" for about 55 soul levels, I finally decided to go clear out the Valley of Drakes.
First step was the undead dragon. Easiest dragon ever. All he ever did was spew poison in front of him and a little to the sides. More than enough time to run in, stay in a dead zone of no poison to the side, swipe a few times before he gets frisky, and roll out of the way of his paw.
Then it was on to the drakes. I tried a ranged strategy first, loading them up with poison arrows. Took too long. Got bored. Decided melee was a good idea - which it is once you get past their spewing electric attack. Shield up, they'll bite and fail so you swipe. Then occasionally they'll fly up and jump and land off the edge of the bridge and fall to their deaths. Oh game, you so funny. Wonder when they'll fix that glitch. Still, the ones that didn't fall to their deaths were fairly easy, get the attention of one and draw them out to neutral ground and cut sick.
tl;dr - dragons are wimps. _________________

just be aware that you have to be at a certain point in New Londo Ruins to be able to see summon signs... I think this also applies to duke's archives, as Pagan and I were able to co-op tomb of the giants fine but we can't in archives. _________________

Cleared Ash lake, joined the Ancient Dragon covenant and invaded my first person for their tasty dragon scale. Yum Yum. PvP is so fun Now to farm some Evil Eyes and maybe co-op some.

Fallen off in Crystal Caves only due to chasing those 3 damn Geckos. And those clams are notoriously annoying to kill as melee. I still think Lost Izalith is the most evil place ever. What's that? Armour is broken due to just exploring around the place? Makes me wish I was perma Chaos Servant +2.

Great thing about Faith builds is that it is no longer a support spec. You can go full Faith and cast nearly as well as full Int. |
its not wraith of gods or emit force, i've been hit by those before. Maybe its white dragon breath? It was like a straight ongoing wind. Ah whatever, fact remains, that was just cheap. Drained all my stamina in seconds in bits at a time while I attempted to block it. I think it came from the head so it could be something dragon covenant related. _________________

Could be this, from the wiki (dragon covenant);
Upon using the Dragon Torso Stone (without any armor equipment inclusive of shield), the player takes the form of a dragonoid. Other than having the same fire attack as the previous point, the player will have:
Increased unarmed attack damage.
A Force miracle-like attack which sends out a shock wave, sending enemies flying upon use. Attack is also boosted by 1.25x for approximately 5-6 seconds.

force emit would be awesome to keep using if the animation wasn't so long, leaves you right open, but feels cool seeing enemies in a radius get blown away. Also someone make Pagan Mind increase faith by 4 so he can use heal instead of relying on flasks =p _________________

It is definitely not White Dragon Breath. If you recall back to the Seath the Scaleless fight, he does a ice beam in a straight line across the ground and icicles pop out. That's White Dragon Breath. Doesn't pushback and it is definitely not spammable, it has the cast time of Heavy Soul Arrow.
As Cyph said, it is the Dragon Stone.

Force Emit is fantastic. Combine a good 2H with it and you can knock down people and then slam them on the ground. It's also tremendously effective against Ring of Fog users. _________________
