Terrible game. Simply terrible.
I haven't actually started it yet. I was going to, but a friend wanted to catch up in the city so I didn't get home until much later, and I'm too wrecked to play. Tomorrow morning I might give it a go before work, or it will have to wait until after.
But I'm sure its just terrible. _________________

My only complaint so far is the running animation and how he touches a wall every time you walk near it, a little annoying. I don't recall that in U2. But it doesn't actually affect anything, just looks weird... _________________

Loving the game. Ive stopped now as knackered and need to unwind, but up to level 8. Very easily a game which is difficult to put down. I just want to keep playing.
I love the hand to hand combat this time round. I find myself doing this/ more than shooting. _________________

Loving it, my save says im 41% through at 2.5 hours of playtime.
Also the only negative thing I can think of is the reuse of enemies, I've hand combat fought 3 big bald burly guys. I would have thought at least they could vary the hair styles or something...
I'm not having the best time aiming with this game, but I think thats to blame on the PS3 controller. _________________ http://bencadphotography.com/

yeah it does do that. Some times it seems worse - in chapter 2 - it was the first time you'd notice it and then later. I think the game through the chapters isn't mechanically 100% the same as it diminishes later - I'm @ 10 now. Its the motion blending at play. You can test it by running near a wa l l and then moving away. Sometimes; you're not even looking like you touched the surface and he'd put his hands up anyhow.
At Chapter 6 - which ever animation director decided to have drake shake his head left/right when running should be fired. Every 3 steps he looks one way and then another 3 steps he looks the other way. He doesn't just look sideways; it almost looks like you're running at an angle or ought to and it was constant and weird ... and annoying. Seems to have disappeared after that area so I think it was just that area? It is very odd.
I'm really enjoying the game now that its back to feeling like an uncharted game again; 1-3 or 4 was very slow moving and it felt more like a point and click adventure game. _________________

OK I got up again this morning with a new brain. Its awesome. I just found the intro to be a little annoying (trial and error cinematic chase scene, and some of the 'theres only one way forward and thats UP and we have highlighted the only ledges you can go on').
However, the aiming has changed and I am not sure if it is for the better yet. Anyone know why they made it this way? You cant aim diagonally.
Anyway, gonna start afresh tonight on HARD. Seems too easy. Hows Hard? _________________

I played on hard. Chapter 10. It's great. You know how I moan that gears 3 was stupid easy and worthless game wise (til the last 3 acts there), this game is great. Shooting takes some readjusting to - huge debacle IMO but once you up sensitivity all the way up, it's mosty good. I got my headshotx5 in a row trophy the first time I tried to get it _________________

I always play on hard first so that I only have to play through it twice to complete it on crushing...
Anyways the Fortune Hunters Club is now available on the Aussie PSN... For $39.95. The 3 skin packs are currently $4.95 each, but I can go without them if need be. So the question really is, will the 4 map packs cost under $39.95AUS? The Uncharted 2 map packs were $8.95 if I remember correctly... _________________

Wow....Yeah sorry Uncharted I'm not paying $40.
I'm on chapter 16 I think and yeah I agree....The first 4 chapters were pretty boring, but after that it feels like Uncharted again. _________________

I've been playing it in 3D. It's actually pretty good. The only other game I've tried in 3D was NBA 2K12 which was pointless, but this works well.
The game itself is awesome of course.

This game is incredible. Everything I ever wanted from an Uncharted game. Pity I still have no Internet at my new place so I can't play this online at all. Looking forward to staying in tonight and hitting more of this up.
Fox face models ftl though. _________________

$24.95. Now, buying this gives US customers a 45% discount. Now if the same applies to us that means all DLC in total will cost around $58. Take away the $14.85 for the skin packs, and we are left with around $43 for the 4 map packs.
I just saw that the UK is getting charged £20, which according to my math is about $30AUS.
We in OZ are getting jipped. _________________

Your math is a bit off... If the au price is $40.. Then without discount, all packs = $72
Farking insane. I can't support that. Might get us dlc pack instead And import a disc and sell the game to a mate. It's absolutely disgraceful. _________________

Yeah, I stupidly multipled 40 by 0.45 and worked it out that way. Been out of school too long...
If I was to download the content with my UK account, would I still be able to use it on my Australian account since I'm using the same physical console? Because $30 I can stomach. _________________

Just finished the single player which was really enjoyable, but I would have to admit I enjoyed UC2's more. Whether that may be because of the wow factor UC2 had back in 2009, I don't know.
I guess now I can delve into the multiplayer again, and shortly I'll play through the main game again on crushing. _________________

I just finished the game.
It was a little flat. Banter wasn't as good as previous ones. Character's interaction were a little disappointing and the some big parts didn't feel as big as they should. The game is solid but just didn't give that kick arse feeling that Uncharted 2 did.
All I remember is Drakes limited vocab of: Crap and Shit. Not much else.
Aside from that... where is the movie menu? I loved in previous games where you can just select the movies/cutscenes for later viewing.
I thought this was a GOTY contender? I dunno now. Batman and Portal are higher up on my list for GOTY 2011. _________________

Just finished it. I enjoyed it.
Id probably still rate Uncharted 2 as my favourite of the franchise. But didn't find much to fault in U3. When a game can meet my expectation when its been as hyped as this - it has done very well.
It was worth taking my day in lieu today just to play.
Not to go treasure & trophy chasing. Maybe next weekend. _________________
