Starting to get into a fairly decent streak on pvp atm, roughly 10 wins straight (coming from a glut of straight loses). Everything is fitting into place

Haha that's fantastic. It no longer guarentees melee combo deflection and the damage reduction is no where near as large now. Although to be honest, the only reason people used it was for 4 Kings and Gwyn. I have a feeling now people will just slap Havel's Armour and the Wolf's Ring to beat those bosses now.

Holy crap, I just tested Great Magic Shield and now I realize why they are tweaking it.
It makes you immune to damage! Without raising your shield!

Magic Shield seems to be working as intended, but it's a little strong. Can't believe I didn't test Strong Magic Shield beforehand. This would of been the ultimate troll spell for PVP invasions.
Finally got INT and Attunement to 50, so 10 magic slots and the highest int needed to use White Dragon Breath is now possible. Now I have to actually work on survivability. Need to raise my chump tutorial HP.

I just completed the game before, I was a bit surprised buy how abrupt the kiln/ending were.
NG+ seems really easy.
I have the same problem, I just hit 49 intelligence but all of my other stats are pretty dismal.
Bed of Chaos trolled me a bit, Gwyn felt like a breeze after that. All I used was Crystal Soulmass, took me a few attempts though.
I really hope FromSoftware keep making amazing games

I'm still plodding my way through. =3
Made my way to Ash Lake tonight and joined the Dragon Covenant. Now I'm running around with the head of a dragon, breathing fire on everything I come across, haha. So awesome. The trip down through the Great Hollow... Not so fun. Goddamn curse, any tips or equipment advice to get around it?
Also went and took down Sif. I felt like such a dick when he started limping around. That same feeling you get in Shadow of the Colossus when you take down yet another innocent hunk of rock and fur.
Still having a blast though. This game has become somewhat of an obsession. Haven't felt like this about any game since... err... Final Fantasy XI.

There is a guy in New Londo that can lift curses for you, as well as the female merchant in the sewers who sells curse lifting equipment. Also, Oswald of Carim (guy in the bell tower at gargoyles) sells them.
Good curse resistant armour would be the dingy set, which you can get off the Firekeeper at Firelink. _________________

Looks like the Darkmoon have taken a liking to me as I was rewarded with some gifts Now to betray them! Muhahah...
More great fun in PvP, I'm on quite the roll. Killed someone who netted me around 300k souls, most I've ever received for a single kill

I've tried invading with the darkmoon item but it always fails. How do you get constant successful invades Cyph?

Well more frequently I get summoned into people's worlds who have killed Dark Sun Gwyndolin. Regarding the blue orb though, I just run around spamming it in different areas. If there is a sinner nearby in that area, I get summoned into their game.

Been playing a new game and I managed to get the Lordvessel in 6 hours.
A full run of Blighttown from the Depths to ringing the bell took half an hour _________________

So, after beating Dark Souls I thought I would want to move on to my backlog but all I want to do is play more Dark Souls haha.
I missed a decent bit of content though, thanks to not using any wikis or guides.

^Yeah I'm the same. I'm currently playing through Heroes VI for review which is a great game and all, and I have BF3 and a few other games hanging around to be played...
..but I want to play Dark Souls some more. I've finished it THREE GOD DAMNED TIMES ALREADY.
Also, I'm getting closer and closer to my goal of platinum. A few more weapon upgrades, one more miracle and all the rare weapons and I think I've done it. First game I'll ever platinum I believe. _________________

the game spiked up in difficulty heaps after getting the lordvessel. I'm getting 2 hit by a normal size arrow in Duke's Archives, that's more than what the silver knight's dragon arrows did to me. The capra mini demons destroy me in the demon ruins, the 4 kings is too hard and I cbf going back through catacombs to get to tomb of the giants. I think it's time to take a break from this =) _________________

On my way to Platinum in this second playthrough. Need a few more slabs to get the max Standard, Crystal, Divine and Chaos which I should be able to get this run. After that I need all the miracles and the the weapon achievement. Should have all of that wrapped up minus the weapon one which needs another playthrough because Sif's soul makes 3 things > _________________

can't you drop items for other players in this like Demon's Souls? If so that would make getting the unique weapons easier. _________________

Cheers WarAdept, worked like a charm. Think I'll make my way back to Izalith now and get it over and done with - that place is an absolute nightmare. _________________ Recently Finished: Legend of Heroes - Trails in the Sky (8/10)

Used up all my boss souls to make unique weapons, killed all the NPC's for their humanity and went off to fight Gwyn. Poor bugger didn't even get to swing his sword, stunlocked him with an initial burst of Crystal Soulmass and then used 2 Crystal Spears.
NG+, tearing through. Trying to invade people with Dragon Scales while I go through but to no avail. Killed the Bell Gargoyle in 2 spells, and somehow it managed to hit his tail and net me the Gargoyle Axe. Which then reminded me I need to cut off the tails off bosses this run.

WTF I got invaded in Tomb of Giant and the ****** used this move which rapid fired some 'jedi-like' force move which pushed me and my helper off the edge, wtf was that cheap move. _________________

Rapid fire with pushback? If it was in a sphere around the caster, it's Wrath of God (or Force which does no damage) which functions exactly as it did in Demons Souls. Otherwise it's Emit Force if it's a projectile. That phantom probably exclusively trolls Tomb of the Giants because of all the narrow paths.
Great thing about Faith builds is that it is no longer a support spec. You can go full Faith and cast nearly as well as full Int.
