Did you just speed run through NG+ Denny? I'm still on the first run on my mage with only Gwyn left but I've clocked about 70hrs with nearly everything obtained, except for some NPC phantom gear. I could finish it, but I'm enjoying just making new characters and running through it again.
Also just finished watching that speed run that was posted a few pages back. At the end he deletes the file. =\

I sped through NG+ yes, but NG++ I'm sitting around doing some grinding and collecting. Do intending on moving into NG+++ maybe later tonight though.
I have a few other characters who are all fairly far in but I mainly focus on my main who I build for PVP and such.

As I'm on a ledge sniping someone, some cunt invades me and hits me 3-4 times from behind. I shrug it off like the BOSS I am, and turn around. He then shits himself and attempts to run away. 2 hits, is all it took, fk ye.

Nice job Zero  . You seem to be the target of a lot of invasions for one reason or other. Should join the Darkmoon Covenant and invade back and give them some smack for invading you in the first place  . Sweet revenge is awesome.

*fist shake at slow spell* - Is there any way around it other than casting it on the opposing party so the effect is you're both slowed? I've been hit by it and it was pretty frustrating when I tried to invade as a vengeful spirit. I thought WTF noooooo... killed seconds later by multiple strikes + backstab >_<.
Anyway, somewhat productive day for Dark Souls. Managed to get through Demon Ruins today, fighting two somewhat simple bosses and now I'm near completion of New Londo Ruins. When I saw Lost City of Izilah I thought nope... not heading that way yet after dying several times.

Thanks to the tips I got the other day I am now cruising through some parts, made it through Blighttown much easier with some high poison resist clothes and defeated Quelaag and rung then second bell. After that I pretty much gorged myself on bosses/mini bosses. Took down Ceaseless Discharge, Both Hydras, Sif and Stray Demon.
Loved Ash Lake for the bounty of Dragon Scales which I used to upgrade my Drake Sword to +4 and have now entered the Path of the Dragon to collect some more to finish it off. Does any one have any idea if you can extend the Drake Sword past +5?

That and tree lizards drop egg vermifuge's in Darkroot Garden. Farm them and eventually you should get one.
With that said if you're not able to get it off in time, you're a permenant maggot head! Awesome.

Ignore New Londo ruins for the moment Grim. It should be one of the last places you visit. That being said, use it to travel to the Valley of the Drakes quickly.
As for the Hellkite on the bridge, there is a little section underneath the bridge that you can use to continue on. Run towards the dragon, (don't keep your shield up, that'll only make you take multiple hits and you are sure to die) dodge the arrows from the Skeleton Archers and there will be a staircase leading below halfway to the bridge.
From there you can create a shortcut to the first bonfire on the Berg and continue onwards towards the Undead Parish.
Or if you're feeling ballsy, get past the dragon, activate the second bonfire and take the shortcut to the Parish.

Finished Sen's Fortress and the Painted World on my tank character and now halfway through Anor Londo. I'm not sure if it's because stacking Vit and End along with a greatshield is OP or it's because I know the fights now, but the game is a lot easier than on my mage. Running around and smacking invading phantoms with the heavy attack from a Lightning Zweihander never gets old.
As I said previous OropherX, 4 Kings is a really pathetic fight if you have Iron Flesh. You won't need any phantoms to help you. Soak up the damage like a boss, enjoy the insane poise it gives you and just relentlessly smack the living crap out of each one when they spawn. Investing in the Sleeping (Slumbering?) Dragon Ring to extend Iron Flesh' duration and go to town.

Alternately, pick a good fire resistant shield like the Hollow Soldier shield and run for it. Worked for me.

Thank a deity, the input lag bug is being fixed. Rolled off the edge far too many times with the Iron Golem because it wouldn't trigger until a second later.

A nerf to Tranquil Walk of Peace, Ring of Fog and Iron Flesh! Now what are the majority of PVP players going to do now once their crutches have been taken away.
Curious about the Magic Shield change, the description is vague and it doesn't change the stats screen when cast, so I hope it's a buff.
Looks like they are nerfing Pyromancy as a whole. I don't believe it's Sorcery or Miracles because they have limited use in PVP sitatious because they take a long time to cast and/or easy to dodge.

I've been grinding Anor Londo whilst wearing the cat ring in an effort to beef up my character without having to increase in soul levels. I'm finding that my light armour makes me a fragile target and my katana does little damage, often with enemies shrugging off the attack and slaying me with ease. My pyro hand is now ascended +5, which helps, but I'm finding my fragility is holding me back.
PvP wise, my kill/death ratio isn't nothing fantastic. Against people my own level/range, I go toe to toe fairly well but suffer at the hands of better equip players. So, I'm thinking that I need to wield a two hander; any suggestions (current strength is only 20, will raise to 24 for now).
My best experience last night was being summoned into the forest where there were 2 players (one assisting phantom) as well as an invading phantom. The invading phantom took aim at me first so I retaliated, almost killing them with a fireball until they rolled off the cliff to their death whilst attempting to dodge the second fireball. I turned my sights on the other two players, backstabbing the assistant phantom to death and then immediately backstabbing the other. I think I netted about 150k souls from that 
I have had some strange experiences though, which I attribute to lag on the other person's side. Once, an assisting phantom was able to damage me whilst I was back stabbing the host. And I regularly find that people are either able to backstab me or attack me when my back isn't turned or whilst my shield is up. Anyone else experience this?

Well, I finished it last night... and I'm up to Queelag after about 3 hours in NG.
Such a breeze so far. I managed to stay human this whole time except when one of those blob things fell on me in The Depths. They're OHKO in NG+ :O
