So I watched these pretty much back to back across the weekend and I really enjoyed it. I love Zombie stuff, but for some reason it took me awhile to get into it.

There were times when I was watching it thinking, damn this really reminded of 'insert zombie themed move, game, etc) but overall I enjoyed it, wish it wasnt so short, cant wait for some more.

Robert Kirkman is considering writing a prequel to The Walking Dead.

The scribe is planning a Volume Zero of the zombie title, revealing the origin of the plague and providing background information on the characters, TV Guide reports.

Full plot details were not revealed, though the prequel is said to reveal how the characters Shane and Lori went from "grieving friends to lovers". AMC's Walking Dead television adaptation will also address the matter with a flashback episode in its upcoming second season.

Walking Dead was first published by Image in 2003. It was co-created by Kirkman and artist Tony Moore, who was replaced as interior illustrator by Charlie Adlard from issue #7 onwards.

The television adaptation debuted on October 31, 2010. The second season airs later this year on AMC in the US and FX in the UK.

A potential released date for The Walking Dead Volume Zero is yet to be announced.

Season 2 to be spilt and a 90 min premiere

AMC have announced The Walking Dead will get an expanded, 90-minute season premiere. The Season 2 premiere airs Sunday, October 16th on AMC at 9pm. Taking a page from a lot of other cable series of late, they've also revealed the season will air in two halves. The first seven episodes will air over consecutive weeks through October and November. The show will then take a break through December and January, and episodes eight through thirteen will begin airing on February 12th at 9pm.

Season 3 has been greenlit, and it continues to be the highest rating show on basic cable/AMC. Lets hope they don't cut the budget next season, Cause they havled the shows budget and doubles the episode count for the second season.
I've enjoyed the last two Episodes, but you can see where they've had to cut corners. I swear some of the Zombies looks like they are wearing those rubber masks you can pick up in Toy/Costume shops.

The first 99% of the episode was pretty meh and you can see how they're trying hard to stretch the budget and meet the amount of episodes they need to cover.

The last 5 min for the ending was pretty sweet. Did not see that coming at all.
