Go to the depths and kill some of the rats. They have a decent humanity drop rate and a bunch of them are right near a bonfire.

Got Chaos Firestorm, kindled nearly every Bonfire possible and I still have some humanity left over. Spent the rest of the day helping people in the Painted World and hunting those with Dragon Scales (currently affiliated with the Dragons).
And I don't think Mages have it as easy as most melee are lead to believe. My pure melee character is up to Anor Londo and some things are just so much more easier to kill via swings than casts. Pinwheel Skeletons being a prime example, the same with dogs or anything quick. The one saving grace mages have in terms of speed is either the Combustion line or Wrath of Gods.
Nearly finished the game, but I need my TF2 hats.
Also which one is which for the Smorgh (sp) and...I won't bother trying, the Anor Londo boss fight. Because I figured you get different drops depending on which one you kill last. I actually killed the small lightning guy last when I fought them so he grew really big. Not that it mattered, still pelted his face in a matter of seconds.
If anyone needs help, WarAdept on PS3, be more than glad to.

Thanks Zero, I beat her pretty easily.
Just after Quelaag's domain there was an illusionary wall and I killed one of those maggot monsters but it started speaking "my lady... my lady". I hope it wasn't a unique NPC or something...

he sells 2 pyro scrolls (toxic mist and something to do with poison), an item so you can see the ranking in spider girls covenant and the cure to egg-head. he can upgrade your pyro glove to +15 too
you can't get the pyro achievement/trophy now but other than that you're fine.
also there are 3 chaos pyro spells. 2 you get from the covenant and one you find in lost izalith near the boss door.

They all can, although Quelana won't appear until you have it to +7 (I think)
