Skyrim is keeping the awesome mod support of Oblivion and Morrowind right?
Surely someone will mod that in (if it's not already in Morrowind or Oblivion). If not give me a buzz and I'll figure out how to make a horse that can fly and let you shoot 2000-6000 fireballs per second. I'll leave re-skinning the horse as a chopper to you (given your animation skills are way better than mine). |
Reminds me of cheating for absurd stats and money on Morrowind and making the most ridiculous spell I could. Fun times.

Todd Howard brought up the possibility of bringing over some mod support for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Skyrim. He meant not just the main official mods but some from the modding community. I was a bit excited at that prospect but am not getting my hopes up, considering the technical difficulties (and Todd's ability to hype). _________________

One of my favourite mod after Better Bodies (because I am an immature person) in Morrowind is the sack to store loot. Itself can be used as a very weak weapon but unlimited storage without stacking on weight, yes please!
I miss Morrowind, I want to play now!. _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

I'm kinda having that dilemma. I hardly ever finish PC games because the internet is right there. Saying that mods! I will probably get both eventually but begin with PC.

Well I never played any of the previous titles.. I dunno why.. I just never got around to them. They require too much time invested to get a really good experience from. For some reason however, I have pre-ordered Skyrim. Something about it just cries out to me for it to be bought.. whether it be the deeper level of crafting being promised, or the way in which the world carries on without me or even reacts to me. I've heard an example of this whereby if you were to drop something, someone might try and return it to you or perhaps, if it's valuable enough, people may fight over it.. just because you dropped it. In another game, you drop some equipment on the ground and 2 hours later come back and it's still laying there, right where you dropped it. However, what I've heard is that this would not happen in Skyrim. There are many other reasons of course.. but the main reason is that I am being promised a big, open-ended, "living" world with a storyline, if I choose to follow it. _________________

After playing Morrowind on the PC after having played it on Xbox, I'd much rather play Elder Scrolls on PC. Mods and the console menu make it all that much better. I hate it when I make a minor oversight and end up being unable to get a unique item or being unable to finish a quest. The console menu typically fixes all that preventing me from having to start over without the need of having to have back up files (though I still do it). _________________

Mods seal the deal. The Elder Scrolls community is one of the most active, and the stuff they do with the games greatly extends longevity. You'd be mad to reject moddable Skyrim. _________________

From what I've gathered (correct me if I'm wrong) they're using a heavily modified version of the engine they used in Oblivion/Fallout 3. Therefore the required specs aren't as high as they would be for a brand new engine. _________________ My Photos

I just read up on it, the Creation engine is actually based on Gamebryo. Not sure how much of it is, but it does provide an explanation for the "modest" system requirements. _________________ My Photos
