don't farm Levinstones, not worth it, better to just buy it from georama town for 54k :/ The Arena II is quite hard, Pagan and I were thrown all around with the 3 gold golems at the end.
You missed the PSN messages I sent you yesterday! When I said I was going to play Dark Souls I changed my mind and tried to call you back when I realised that I have 98 S ranks and need just 2 more for the gold trophy XD _________________

Oh.. hehe. That's fine.
I am now saved in Nordia Tunnels and farming Direspider for the Direspider Egg+ to bind the bow I want. It's kind of tough with 2 bows against spiders. I got Game-Over twice when I traverse in Langish Desert and encountered the Firespider. I now remembered how to kill it and will go back for revenge later.
I just like to farm items so I get to have them in the item storage. I'll probably be there for a while as I just found the Ice Giant and am hoping for Ice Giant Eye. One thing I hate is to find items that is low tier. I can't seem to find Vespid Jaw as well as Waterspider Shell which I need to enhance Caesar armor and my boots. :/ _________________ 「貧乳はステータスだ!希少価値だ!」 - 泉 こなた

You need to do lots of item farming at GR18+ if you don't want generic gear. I'm trying to get an earth dragon skull+ to make my Gorgon Axe which is then needed to make some pretty sweet axes later on.

The direspider in the nordia tunnel won't drop a direspider egg+. Nordia tunnel enemies are generally teir 1, some people say there are some teir 2 enemies in there but after killing about 10 ice giants there i can confirm that it only has teir 1 enemies. Direspider egg+ is from teir 3 direspiders. So if you'd have to do sprog cleaning II quest or the exterminator III which are both GR15 I think. I thought only dire waterspiders are in the tunnel so you'd have to do GR17 quests if you want to get a waterspider egg+
Buy all the item drop related tickets from PSN, it's worth it trust me. Those eggs have a ridiculous drop rate so if you get one you'd want to have 2 just by having a ticket on you. Don't worry the spiders are a joke once you have the paralysing bow move =) although bows still don't do much damage as they are weak to slash damage. Farming items in the main game is a bad idea. If you want to farm you'll have to do it online for different teir enemies. _________________

Nordia tunnels at my current story stage have Ice Giants at Tier 2 base on the drops I gotten. There are Tier 2 and 3 spiders. Even some of the Lizards can be of a higher tier. I've already gotten Direspider Leg+, Direspider Claw+, Direspider Fang+ from the Direspider at Nordia down at the lowest floor. I do believe the Direspider Egg+ drops from the similiar tier.
I don't normally have much time to play, so saving at a spot and doing farming runs are what I normally do. Online is mainly for quest and the disadavantage for me, even to do quest alone, is the inability to pause.
This game is my type of game coz I think I got a farming nature. I actually broke away from story mode to farm all the Dull Lumps from the Knaves and Golems, even though I do not really need all of it. I particularly like the Lost Forest runs I make as I get to encounter 6-7 beasts. The 4 seasons scenary are nice as well )
Thanks for all the advise _________________ 「貧乳はステータスだ!希少価値だ!」 - 泉 こなた

I've just come to the realisation that I haven't touched any of my RPGs in ages (most, if not all are sitting on that very tall back catalogue of mine) _________________

So there's no way I'm going to be able to beat Flubdhvsyg-thing this playthrough unless I'm missing out on a vital tactic.
I can't heal enough and have no recipe for Elixirs.
I'm not doing a second playthrough as I generally don't as my backlog is too large.. I'll make my boyfriend do my second run. _________________

The Flauscetraut is so easy compared to the actual 'last boss' @_@ I used a lot of 'spin' rank globes and lightning quartzs. Generally I rely on 'convert damage' traits to get my hp back up. You don't get the recipe for elixir until the place after the fight. I think both Mimi and Sterk used their supermoves during that battle so that helped a lot as they do heaps of damage. Probably worth bringing a view nectars or anhks with revival properties. I hate to say this but if you don't beat it you'll get the bad ending when the game ends at 1/6 year 6 =S I love the battle theme when fighting the Flauscetraut though. _________________

Priscilla: I freaked out a bit the first time that I tried to fight the Flauscetraut too. All you really need to beat it are two things:
1.) At least one set of Dimension Eggs. Each one gives Totori an extra turn in battle, so she can make two actions instead of one. It eats up her MP, but that's ok.
2.) Plenty of your best healing item. I was using Vitality Pills at that point in the game. Totori will be able to heal both of your party members every turn, making them very hard to kill.
Then just hammer it with your party member's single target skills until it dies, throwing in an explosive item or two with Totori if you have some. Bring a couple of Nectars along if you're feeling a bit unsure, and some Mind Waters are good to have if you want to keep your party member's MP up. Using this strategy I was able to beat the Flauscetraut at adventurer level 32. _________________

Ah! Thanks. I have quite a few Dimensional Eggs now thanks to Chim.
Though my weapons are only platine and my armour is even worse as I can't obtain a dragon scale or sponge fruit. I think that's my problem. :/ _________________

That's fine, I was using the exact same equipment for that fight. You can't get a sponge fruit until you beat it. _________________

Over the last week I've had a hard time keeping with playing one or two games, I kept jumping between various games and couldn't decide which one to play. Yesterday, I thought bugger it, I'm going to play Rune Factory Frontier on Wii, after a few hours of playing it, I was hooked. This game has everything....farming, relationships, levelling up, dungeon crawling, fishing, crafting of various types and quests. It's one of those games where you just think, "I'll do one more game day then turn it off.", but it doesn't happen and you keep going.
I've made plenty of mistakes due to lack of knowledge on a few things, information that would of been really handy at the start to speed along my crops and progress. It doesn't matter too much though as there is no time restrictions that I've seen or heard about. Speaking of time, each game day moves along at a nice pace which gives you plenty of time to deal with your crops or go dungeon crawling. I'm certainly looking forward to getting Rune Factory: Tides Of Destiny one day in the near future as Frontier has me hooked _________________

That pretty much sums up Atelier Totori for me. It's really hard to stop playing sometimes!
I've finished my playthrough of Totori now, I decided to aim for only Melvia's ending, which went quite well. My brother is working away on a perfect playthrough in order to get the true ending though, so I'm helping him out a bit with that. We should end up with the Platinum trophy. _________________

I never got to play the gameboy versions of the series, I had started with the SNES one then had the gamecube A Wonderful Life followed by the first Rune Factory (never got to finish it as I had put it aside then had lost what I was doing when I had returned to it) on the DS. This series has certainly come a long way and has evolved heaps. I'm finding that I like the Rune Factory series more than the original HM games these days.
Once I'm done with Frontier I have Rune Factory 3 on the DS to jump into. A lot of people are saying that even with Tides Of Destiny out, Rune Factory 3 is the best in the series. Oh, has anyone played Rune Factory 2? Is it worth picking up if you already own Rune Factory 3? _________________

Well I will give it another go when I get home .
Harvest Moon on the SNES was my first and still my favourite to this day! I've never played a Rune Factory title though in the last couple of weeks I've got 1, 2, Frontier and Tides of Destiny!
I struggle with HM games that have loading times though! _________________

Ooh you got Mel's ending, that means you beat Evil Face, congrats. I swear if he didn't summon those demons and I had another 20 days to get back there with the best armour I currently have I should be able to win. At least it gives me something else to do with my NG+ run. Did you reach Galaxy rank by the end? I was 400 points off :/ Want to fight the black dragon at Night's Domain. _________________

So I beat Atelier Totori. I almost had Evil Face beat but right when he was almost dead they all went for Totori and then it was game over. Without those demons it would have been a breeze.. _________________

Missed? Ha, you mean avoided. I just wanted to do a fun playthrough without having to worry about any side events. Plus, I beat Evil Face, so there. It's too bad that there's no trophy for that (well, I suppose Melvia's kind of counts). _________________

Just received my Atelier Totori and Disgaea 4, haven't played either series before but they both look interesting, and addictive.
I really want to get Dark Souls out of the way first though.
