More like $20 to $30, which isn't really all that much. Besides, on a multiplayer game like this? 10 days would be enough for you to fall heaps behind, not to mention all my friends would be playing it and it'd suck not being able to.

i got my PS3 copy for $46 , was a pricing error on ozgame + the $10 coupon at the time , $98 take away 46 dos not = 20-30

So in that certain situation it was 50. It is about $60 online now, or $88 from Big W (might be cheaper at other places?), so that's $28.

Great news everyone!
Those with the game preloaded will be able to play upon the US release via VPN.
I just tried to run the game, a release date checker came up, it said I couldn't play until 9:30am on 27th Adelaide time.
I reconnected from Seattle and look...
That works out to 11am Adelaide time on Wednesday, so a day before local release, and on time with US release.
Will clock the SP that night and get ready for MP on Aussie servers the next day.

Great to see. It was soo useful in BF2 I felt like BF3 was missing something when I played the Beta.
Useful for when you need to ask for ammo or a ride from someone not in your squad.

as noted the install is 2gbs on the PS3 vs the 1.5 on 360, honestly going by those screen shots the 360 version with out the HD textures isnt just missing HD textures lol - its missing textures.

^which vpn service are you going through? And I take it using vpn service means it won't be perma unlocked till Friday?
Also, will this work around work regardless of which region the game is from?
