Dungeon Defenders - PSN / XBLA / PC

Dungeon Defenders is perhaps best described as a tower defence co-op action RPG game, where you and up to three other friends fend off hordes of monsters by building towers and then participating in combat directly, upgrading stats, gathering loot, using special class abilities etc. It is due to be released on the 20th of October this year for those of us in Australia on PSN, Xbox live arcade and PC (Steam and other websites).
Not sure if anyone else has been keeping their eye on this game although I must say this game caught my eye when I first saw it about a year earlier. It was supposed to be released Q2 2011 but then got pushed back because of agreements with Microsoft to my understanding.
Looking forward to playing this when it is released perhaps with some Palgn people.
Anyone else heard of this / looking forward to it?

It's been out on iOS for quite a while, it's not too bad. I never really played it all that much though, maybe I should give it another go.

Whilst fun, I found the controls a little clunky for my liking on the iOS. For these types of games I much rather play them on the PC. Speaking of which...
The PC version was released today and I managed to get a few rounds in with some guys. Found it to be quite fun and at times very chaotic. Seeing 900+ monsters attempting to rush the crystal in the last wave can be quite scary but the team managed to pull through

Steam is still being a whore and not installing the game. Does anyone have ideas to fix this? I've left it for about an hour and it eventually just stops and tells me the steam servers are currently busy.

change your content server? Unless you're relying on an unmetered server from your ISP.. Mine froze similar to yours yesterday but then finished up not soon after..

Yeah I'd do what Zhou suggested and change content servers. Stupidly, I get better download rates from Singapore than I do anywhere in Aus. that I've tried.

Played a few hours last night with mates.
Cool game, really nice looking. It quickly escalates in difficulty and team work definitely becomes paramount to success. Has a nice leveling up system too with lots of different things to screw around with.

Played a few rounds with Windburn last night.. very good gameplay and scales to the level of the players currently playing. Being able to switch between characters during the planning phase is a good thing too, so you can set up defenses etc with the higher level character and then level up your lower level characters.. I haven't done so yet.. still getting my main character to level 20 first.. On level 19 now..
Anyway, yer.. I could see myself playing this as a casual game on a regular basis.
