Anybody dissapointed with Gears of War 3's manual is just going love Batman AC's... they didn't even manage to fill both pages.

Just like Assassin's Creed Revelations, I'll pick this up eventually. But there's too many games coming out now, so there's no point paying full price now for something I won't play until early next year. _________________

I have it! 360 from JB for $89. They said it wasn't $79....but I got the Robin DLC which I can't seem to download (everything else works).
Is this future DLC? _________________ Shin J Leon.

It's because the street date was broken so the DLC isn't valid yet. Try again on Wednesday. It better be $79...Though I guess Robin DLC isn't that bad for $10 more... _________________

What is it though? Is Robin DLC a special campaign or just skin? The rest is downloading now and were valid. _________________ Shin J Leon.

I think he's only playable in challenge maps, kinda like The Joker in Arkham Asylum. _________________

The DLC is actually large-ish. The catwoman pack is about 250 meg. I would have thought these would be 50k type sizes... _________________ Shin J Leon.

I definitely only paid $79, but didn't get the Robin DLC. Website also says $89, but that includes the Robin DLC, as a bonus for buying from JB (not as a preorder bonus). So, perhaps the store I went to didn't have the codes yet, and bumped down the price?

Well the JB Hifi here in Melbourne had the two price point, $79 for the standard Batman release and $89 for the lenticular cover and DLC codes (this edition is exclusive to JB). _________________

Is Robin worth getting now or should I wait until he and Nightwing come on the PSN store? _________________

I was so tempted to pre-order from JB, just to get the Robin codes, then do some tricky, fancy, return/trade-in/websale thing and recoup the expense of the actual game (i've got mine pre-ordered at EB, JB had run out of collectors when I ordered mine).
...but then I got too lazy, and I'm not at all confident it'd be worth my while. Anyone think I might be onto something, though, for those of us with the crappier pre-order bonus's? _________________

Chicked scanned regular and Robin version for me, both came up @ $89. Oh well.
Game is friggin awesome. Although I was a gun at AA, but I've forgotten everything and starting up on hard is a bit of a learning curve. The game game itself is pretty massive even from the initial menus as you start with a lot of stuff.
Can't wait to get more into this. Graphics are really really nice as well. _________________ Shin J Leon.

$79 was probably the preorder price. Happened to me for a few games now. _________________

The JB lenticular cover with the Robin DLC is part of the 3 for 1 trade in (both PS3 and XB360), you could always try getting one that way. _________________

Had a quick glance at the Kmart Website to see if the game was listed in there catalogue, doing a search on there site suggests they'll have this for $69. But it might not be on shelves until Wednesday/Thursday. Might be a online only price too _________________

The following DLC codes worked for me:
Catwoman missions
Beyond Batman skin
Iceberg Lounge Challenge pack
The Dark Knight Returns skin
I've put in about 5 hours so far but feel like I've only scratched the surface (12% total completion so far). I'd be surprised if I'm even close to one-third of the way into the main story. Something really cool took place early on the in the game. I won't say what exactly but you'll feel as manly afterwards as you did when Chris Redfield beat up a boulder in RE5. _________________

Hah yeah....I should have waited but I couldn't resist. I caved and got the Robin edition for $89. my JB had no $79 version. I'm very keen to test it out, but I got an exam at 6pm so I should do a tiny bit of last minute revision first.
Edit: None of the codes are working, including Cat Woman....Should I worry? _________________

Umm... wow.
I just got off the phone to an EB Games rep, and I have some surprising news (if you didn't see it above, killjoy83 mentioned it earlier):
For those of you who have pre-ordered the collectors edition of Arkham City, since street date is broken but there's no collectors edition in sight, EB are GIVING AWAY free standard copies of Arkham City.
I confirmed with the very friendly chap I spoke to that if you pre-ordered online, they'll be posted to you directly (they have actually already been posted), and if you pre-ordered in store, you can walk in and pick it up RIGHT NOW!
Never thought I'd be saying this, but EB have done a gracious and classy thing here. _________________

My JB had the Robin edition as $89, standard $79.
So I walked across the road and got EB to price match Big W's $68, no questions asked. Rad!

Not really, IMO. If anything the customers will be more pissed off in the end, becuase now the collector's editions will be unsealed. There's no way they ain't going to be taking out the Batman discs in the collector's editions before sending them off to those who got their 'free' standard version.
