Just beat the moonlight butterfly. Boss was an absolute joke, it's just there to look pretty and bump up the game's graphics ratings =p Anyway on my way there I was getting owned by the big knights that can slow you then i reminded to myself, that like the stone holders and fat guys in blight town, I don't need to beat them and can just slip around the sides and run past =p I got pwned right at the entrance of sen's fortress so I'll probably keep going in the forest area :/ _________________

I need to start upgrading a weapon now :/ Drake sword doesn't cut it anymore this far in. Maybe I'm underleveled at lvl36. I get pwned fast Sen's Fortress, I barely scratch the drake's in Drake's Valley and the big wolves just bite my head off at Darkroot Basin :/
Also congrats Denny for being the first person to complete it. Let us know how much harder NG+ is =D _________________

NG+ is more damage and a lot more souls currently. My Havel armour set doesn't help as much anymore, though I do like 500 damage per hit with my Halbred so I one shot most of the early guys easy.
Killed Taurus Demon in 3 shots and beat both Asylum and Stray Demon. Gargoyles too. I was overleveled by the end of NG though, so I got a bit of a headstart. I did venture a bit deeper into other areas and yeahhhh being hit hurts. A LOT.
I love this fucking game.
Oh also, the end boss battle music was absolutely perfect. I had goosebumps, even though I was getting my arse handed to me. It was set really, really well for the fight. _________________

Has anyone found a good farming spot for farming Humanity? I would very much like my Chaos Firestorm from the White Witch Queen.
I found the rats drop the Humanity items in the Depths, and there is a good 5 of them bunched together near a bonfire but the drop rate seems to be atrocious for them.
Cleared out the Demon Ruins with its silly amounts of Taurus and Capra demons, but as I was going back up, something terrified me greatly. My character's head got engulfed by some egg like it was from the movie Alien. Then gigantic worms started ripping out of his chest.
I like the movies, but the Alien series used to terrify me with it's facehugging, baby planting into stomach creatures and to see it in Dark Souls has scared the living daylights out of me. Rummaged through my inventory and luckily I picked up some item that removes "Egg" status.
Never again. (Egg status halves Soul gain by half if you wanted to know what it does).

And when the egg gains enough souls it stops but your head is fully replaced and cannot equip head gear anymore. This is why I'm trying to find another covenant fast and get out of the chaos one =p _________________

Tomb of the Giants, there's an area with baby skeleton things everywhere. Apparently they drop a lot of Humanity, though getting there is a pain. _________________

God I am rubbish at melee builds. Started again to take a break from my Mage (went through the Catacombs, was easy once I learnt that the Skellies don't revive once you kill their respective Pyromancer).
Even with the Drake Sword equipped, I'm dying more often than on my Mage. Capra Demon somehow got even worse this time around, but I'm pretty sure this difficulty has something to do with me pouring all points into Dexterity (as I planned for this to be my Archer character). Two handed Drake Sword is not fun when you need to parry.
As for my Mage, now at the Tomb of Giants. Luckily I have the Light spell so I can actually see where I'm going. Patches kicked me down a hole again. I'm stabbing him on my 2nd run.

I'm running around always with half health, due to the ring which gives me 50% more casts of my spells. Seems standard to me as in Demons Souls, lots of people didn't bother with wearing the Cling Ring in Phantom form.

DOUBLEPOST AHH.
Been blasting through NG+ mainly because I know the fights, though the 2 on 1 boss in Anor Londo (won't say names for spoilerrsss) was a fucking white-knuckle brawl that had me shaking by the end of it. Serious adrenaline rush, NG+ has little room for error as you will die in two shots or less from a lot of bosses.
Also I found more shortcuts to areas that I previously did not see. Is it just me that thinks that the level design in this game is some of the best design in any game fucking ever? It's complex, interesting and filled with secrets. There's nothing quite like it. _________________

the vids make you wonder why you torture yourself through depths/sewers/blight town when you can just go from the bottom lift in firelink shrine and get to the end of blight town from there. _________________

The level design is amazing, how the areas flow and the way shortcuts are unlocked blew me away.
Most bosses already kill me in two hits easy haha, I don't like exceeding 50% equip burden so I can only wear heavy leggings at this point.

Doing some quick calculations, Pyromancer is the best from a min/max standpoint, as he starts at level 1 and has the highest stats to level ratio. So if you're the type who PVP's with absolute edge, then go for it.
It also helps that Pyromancy doesn't scale by INT, but by the Flame equipped and for some fire spells, the amount of Humanity you have.
Also, I've never seen someone shred the Red Dragon's tail so fast. 3 hits from the default Pyromancer axe and he just runs past. Of course he had gold pine resin still buffed, but this guy is a champion.
Only watched the first 2, otherwise I'm going into spoiler territory.

Grinded 30 humanity and gave it to the Chaos Servant Covenant leader. Now have Chaos Storm aka I will incinerate all life surrounding me.
Good grinding place for humanity apart from tomb of the giants btw: Go to the bonfire in the depths (one right before the entrance into the sewer area) and go downstairs near a corner with about 5 rats. Those rats have good humanity drop rates and I farmed a tonne of it off them today. _________________
