I cannot believe no one has made a general discussion thread for this yet (unless there is one and i fail at using the search function)
Anyways what i really want to talk about is all the collectors that are being made in different parts of the worlds. I intend to get them all.
I'll post up different ones with various links, and if anyone knows of or finds out news of ones not listed here, please feel free to share the info
Also feel free to share/discuss Arkham City related stuff here too (as as far as i know there is no other topic on it

As i've said in other preview threads, i am not pre ordering... going to run the gauntlet and get it cheaper on release  . In saying that i am not sure if i will hold off on buying the other versions (ps3, pc etc) as i go along, and get them all insanely cheap as i did with Arkham Asylum. I'd love to play the 360 and pc versions concurrently.... then worry about the ps3 version at a later date. And then the eventual GOTY editions again.

Wow, that's a lot of different editions. You'd be spending a lot if you wanted them all.
Strange how they put more blood on the Czech cover, but either way it's cool that there is so much variety here. I love it when they put effort into CE's

Basically what Matt Said
Dick Grayson was the first Robin (circurs performer whos parents were killed by mobsters and was taken in by Batman) First Batman trains him up as Robin with the intention of him taking over the position of Batman when bruce gets too old. He decides he doesn't want to inherit Batmans mantle though and instead decides to forge his own path in life by becoming Nightwing. (wich is when Batman finds and trains up Jason Todd as the next Robin wich... doesn't turn out well, I think the Robin in the Game is Damien who is Bruces Biological son)
Basically He starts his own persona as Nightwing and moves to Bludhaven (the one city more fucked up and criminal ridden then Gotham) He basically tries to fix Bludhaven the way Bats tries to fix Gotham (Although he uses Oracle as mission controll to help him... also he's banging her) Through all of this Bats is just really proud of him becoming his own man and basically sees Nightwing as his son and the best thing he's ever done. (When an evil alternate reality superman is trying to make his reality take over the main one by convincing bruce that his reality is better, Bruce's argument is basically this universe has Nightwing in and anyone without him is useless)
Nightwing himself basically is Batman without the grim. He's gone through some heavy shit but never really lets it get to him like Bruce does, he's always cheerfull and kind of like Spidey except that the jokes and taunts arent him hiding his fear, its more that this is what he's been doing since he's 10 and he's completly at home fighting crime and enjoys it.
He also ends up one of the most well connected guys in the DC universe. Where as Batman knows pretty much everyone but is really only friends with Supes. Nightwing formed the Teen Titans and is best friends with everyone from the original team (So the prince of atlantis, the flash, the original wondergirl who I don't really know anything about) Plus is seen as like a nephew to the main leauge like Supes and Wonderwoman.
Also he bangs everyone.
I mean we're talking Batgirl, Trantula, Starfire, Raven, Original Batwoman, Pashed Catwoman, and god knows how many random non superhero chicks.
He's also well known for his fucking tragic fashion.
Seriously man check this mullet
Or his DCAU version mullet (Hope that makes it into the Animated skin)
Or that freaking disc colar again
and jesus fuck man. his evil doppleganger got it even worse

^He was also Batman a couple of years back when everyone thought Bruce Wayne/Batman was dead
Arkham City definitely a Day 1 purchase, but I'm probably going to give the Nightwing DLC (and other DLC) a miss and buy the inevitable GOTY edition that will have everything
