Looking forward to giving Four Swords a go tonight after work for that price! Might even buy Super Mario Land. Are the controls as dated and rough as I'm thinking they must be?
Also a little note about the article: This version is now without its tweaks though probably meant to be "not" without? _________________

Super Mario Land 2 was and still is freakin awesome. SML1 was cool too, but the sequel was a vast improvement. Those two Mario games and Tetris were the top battery eaters in the pre-Pokemon GameBoy days... _________________

Thanks, the typo has been amended.
As for the controls in 6 Golden Coins, I dowloaded it today and they do seem just a bit stiff to me at times, but it's still a lot of fun to play. _________________
