In case anyone was wondering, the game's multiplayer is region locked.  If you have a PAL console, and your friend has a U.S one, then bad luck. Nintendo, stopping you from gaming with your friends since 2011.

What, that sucks. I was planning on playing it with my friend but both my DSi and 3DS are US and his 3DS is Australian
