We all (girls that is) grow up roleplaying with our dolls and dressing up etc.... So roleplaying is kind of in our blood _________________

^Agreed!. Yep, I love RPG for its story. Grinding part sadly not so much (it's only because I have a busy life and I literally get sick when playing for more than 3 hours straight).
Bonus points if it can make me cry! (like Final Fantasy X, Star Ocean 3).
I even know a few non-gamers that likes RPG games story. They search on the internet for the combined cut-scenes of the game or wants me to tell them what is currently happening in the story. I miss my high school years of game story retelling as I was trying to copy Tidus' laugh and getting stares by randoms. _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

Oh god. Did you really see that? It was more of a rage post but I hate the 'girl gamer' stereotype and the pink controller topped it off!
If you guys have Facebook you should add me .
Most female gamers I know actually play shooters. Though the ones who don't, play RPGs. My friends don't play but found the story interesting . _________________

My sister tends to like shooters and fighters the most but she did like Lost Odyssey although she never finished it.

The female gamers I know actually plays games from a majority of genres, which is great. Heck there are even when I'm at the arcades in the city, I see a lot of female gamers there playing all sorts of games, ranging from DJ Max Technika to Initial D (where a majority of guys who play this game tend to use a female avatar as their avatar) _________________

dang that sea place in Xenoblade... shooting stars at night? I swear sometimes I just wish the game would permanently stay at night as it's when all the pretty stuff appears. _________________

I think most people from the SH dev team went to feelplus, which co-developed Lost Odyssey. Not sure of the DS game you were talking about though.

I remember that there was a post on here ages ago by Kyle (what happen to him anyway) from TGS 2010 annoucing it and there were two pictures to go with it. I don't have time now to go through the backlog of this topic to find it but if I happen to find it I'll make sure to post it.

I hope this title goes back to the main Suikoden world, as there's a whole massive continent to the west which hasn't had a game to yet. |
I really don't want to get excited for this as I agree they won't localize it but YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY another Suikoden game!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sorry couldn't help myself). I'm also guessing by the trailer that this is going to go back to the main series as alot of people didn't care for Tierkreis. Personally I really enjoy it and before Radiant Historia would of rated it as my favourite RPG on DS but then again I haven't play the infamous Suikoden 2 or 1/3/tactics for that matter.
To all these girls who like RPGS, where are you girls, seriously I have enough trouble finding girls who don't think I'm a nerd by playing video games let alone RPGs.

Gr, hating on Gears of War as I had to work free and didn't get home until three hours after my shift finished.. And had to transport lancers and consoles to a different store having a midnight launch :l.
Anyway EB pushed Totori back so canceled my order and buying it online. Is it just EB or was it actually pushed back? _________________

Good Game reviewed Xenoblade at 20 hours in, I guess they'd fall behind on all their other games if they were to complete it. Bajo wanted the graphics to be HD "it demands more power!" but says it's like the first JRPG he has ever liked and gave it 9.5/10, he also complained about camera and on screen clutter. Hex accepted and appreciated it as a wii game and gave it 9/10. I lol'd at their recording of the gem crafting system though since it is kinda confusing to me but I have only used it once so far in 20 hours of play since I can't get a light rain element to drop from a nebula on bionis leg so I can do the last lvl1 repair on colony 6 and get the portable crafter.
Also Laura Bailey said on her facebook that she's getting married in a week, so I guess I should get used to typing her as Laura Willingham in this thread now =p _________________

^^ so this was my first look at the game (I pre-ordered on hype and it remain sealed on my back-log shelf (too many games, tooo few hours) and I've resisted all temptation to open it till I clear some of my current games. It looked like a wii game. All the graphics hype seemed a little overdone. They may be great for the wii, but didn't wow me. I accept that in-game atmosphere and design may win me over. We will see. As for the game play it lookedto be alot like FFXIII in a FFXII world?? I can live with that. The screen did look very cluttered and the camera issue (if as bad as indicatated) is dissapointing. Still all this is speculation and first impression based on a TV review. I'll proberbly have something authentic to contribute in 18 months when I have the time to invest in it. _________________

lol hearing Shulk & Reyn talk while crafting gems is bloody hilarious, never knew since I use the Japanese voiceovers. I don't really have problems with the camera though, it can get slightly annoying, but never too frustrating. Graphics are decent and you get used to it, but yeah it would've amazing in HD...Wii U re-release? _________________

Yep, I got that game last Christmas as a gift (I get rarely games as gift, only managed after whining for years to my bf and this is what he came up with), its in my backlog.
I should probably go get my Star Ocean 3 and Shadow Hearts 2 back . I lent it for 4 years and haven't finished them myself but this has result in my other half getting Shadow Hearts and Shadow Hearts 3 so it is a win for me (when I get them back). Also have Star Ocean 4.
Oh boy, it seems like I need to do an RPG marathon! Just stock up on paracetamol and use up my annual leave and I should be set! I'm at the last save point in Final Fantasy IV DS and in the middle of playing Dragon Quest IV DS, in the middle of Lost Odyssey. I need to learn to be committed to finishing what I start as well. I really love RPG games, it's just its hard to keep up for me. _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

I probably shouldn't have... but I couldn't resist.
I just got my copy of Persona 2: Innocent Sin. Where am I going to find the time to play it with all these other games I got going at the moment?
Dark Souls coming out as well, hrm... *looks at pile of unfinished games* _________________ Recently Finished: Legend of Heroes - Trails in the Sky (8/10)

I was equally perplexed. I think the joke is on people who bought it, it is a fairly poor example of a 'premium' edition in my opinion. _________________
