Thats the best of the Witcher 2 trailers, in my opinion. The song fits it perfectly. _________________

Anyone else get their replacement statue yet? I was pleasantly surprised at the "bonus gift" they offered as an apology not that I'd wear it in public _________________

Yes! Got mine today, and I was very happy with the bonus gift. Medallion ftw.
Also not sure if I'd wear it out though. The actual necklace is really huge _________________

Sorry master race, but since The Witcher 2 news is now relevant to the 360 (and hopefully PS3 eventually) too, this thread is going MULTI PLATFORM.
CDP released a pdf of the changes and tweaks for v2.0. Lots of amazing sounding combat changes that could very well eradicate all the responsiveness issues I had with the game. They seem to be speeding up Geralt's shifts and removing the general lag behind attacking and moving.
Its also interesting to see how many changes are in the works between now and the 360 build.
The first three will be in v2.0, the CGI clip will come later, and who knows what all those locked goodies are.
Also, CDP re-confirmed that updates/DLC will be free on PC, but said they probably wont be on 360. Not their choice, but the expected Microsoft service bullshit. _________________

I think I'm going to wait for the 360 release. As awesome as the game is I don't want to get stuck into a cycle every time DLC hits, especially given how many awesome games are on the horizon. If I wait until the 360 release all those updates should be locked in, and it will make that playthrough all the more epic. _________________

Jarrod you should just wait for the 360 release and then play it on PC. It'll be dirt cheap by then and you'll get all the updates at once - for free. Not to mention the undoubtedly superior graphics and gameplay. _________________

It comming out on 360 does make it more tempting since there's no way it'd run on my PC. But man I've tried to like the first game I really have but it's difficult. _________________

Witcher 2 > Witcher by a good country mile. Its the 'drastic changes' kind of difference you could equate to AC-AC2, or ME->ME2. Only better. _________________

| Quote: | The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition Coming To Xbox 360
The Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will arrive in the second quarter of 2012, the latest issue of Game Informer has revealed. Even better – it’s an “Enhanced Edition.”
The Enhanced Edition will include numerous tweaks and fixes, controls further optimized for the console gamepad, and over four hours’ worth of new quests, bringing the player to new locations and introducing them to new characters. The story-arc for these extra quests, the magazine reports, revolves around the kidnapping of royal heirs.
The magazine does not mention whether or not the Enhanced Edition will come to PC, though developer CD Projekt RED has a good history with providing additional content at no charge. |

Yeah, there's a lot planned between now and the 360 build.
The first three have been patched in, but CDP has been quiet on everything else. We know there's a new CGI clip with Letho, and now a new story revolving the royal heirs.
Hopefully we learn more soon. _________________
