It is $288 at Big W till 27/9.
If anyone is wondering why these are cheaper than usual, Microsoft price dropped the 4GB Xbox360 Kinect and the 250GB Xbox360 Kinect to $399.95 and $499.95. The 250GB without Kinect is still $449.95 and and the 4GB without Kinect is $249.95.
Here is a link to all the bundles with their RRP's. Link

^ So I just briefly considered getting one for $300... Until I realized there weren't really many exclusives other than Halo, Gears of War and Forza that are worth playing. Not counting XBLA games - what else did I miss? _________________

Thanks guys
Yeah I saw that, but I'm not familiar with most of the exclusives so I asked anyway.
Verv: Of the Fables only #2 is a 360 exclusive. Alan Wake I'd like to play. The other two games I vaguely recall as JRPGs which don't interest me.
So Halos, Gears of Wars, Forza, Fable 2 and Alan Wake... plus XBLA and a couple of JRPGs if you're into that. Guess I'll pass and save my money. _________________

The 360 admittedly captures its target audience in the multiplatform department more so than the exclusives (the lack of Japanese support as well as Microsoft wanting cross overs with their Windows platform I personally think are two big reasons for such a lack of exclusives). I'd say all the titles Vervain listed (Gears, Halo and Fable series and Alan Wake, Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia) plus the Crackdown, Ridge Racer and Project Gotham franchises, Dead Rising and Saints Row (the first titles are exclusives until Sony flashed some money and made them cross-platform), Dead or Alive 4, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, Beautiful Katamari, Mass Effect, Infinite Undiscovery and Blue Dragon are the ones I'd suggest to anyone wanting to buy a 360 around this point of time, not including the Kinect and Xbox Live Arcade titles. _________________

Honestly worth it for Gears, Fable and the XBLA games alone.
There are soo many good XBLA games. _________________

This is what GMG said on twitter
We have a 20% "war' voucher up for the weekend, soldiers! It does work for some other 'non war' games too, so do some experimenting!
I used it on Tomb Raider and Football Manager which aren't war games.

Yeah the Collector and Limited Editions of GoW 3 aren't worth it unless you're an avid fan who likes the authentic merchandise that comes with it. _________________

The thing is unlike the Gears of War 2 Limited Edition, you don't get any cool in-game bonuses like the Flashback Map Pack (which was five whole maps). Instead you only get the Adam Fenix DLC code, which isn't really that special. Besides, with the standard edition at JB you can get the Baird and Dom multiplayer DLC skin codes as well as a Marcus Wall poster... so yeah, Limited or Collectors for $120+ seems wasteful. _________________
