Watching Baccano and I think it's better than Durarara so far. Isaac and Miria are such a sweet duo. I'm gonna run out of good anime to watch at this rate.

That would be great mikezilla, here's my list. I added a couple to my "plan to watch", namely Black Lagoon. That's next after I finish Baccano.

^ wow you're still relatively new to anime =p I've seen much much more. Should update my MAL but too lazy.
edit: eh MAL doesn't let you view all anime registered to the site by letter anymore? That's crap, going to take me forever to brainstorm shows I've seen. _________________

Now I'm curious about your list . I started watching anime about 8 years ago but generally it's an on and off type of hobby for me. I tend to watch heaps more movies. Add me on MAL if you'd like guys.

Fooly Cooly I remember watching the 1st episode, thinking what's so great about this anime? Then the manga scene happened, it was all uphill from there. Fantastic stuff.
Nooooo! You dropped Ouran Host Club
Anyway you may be interested in Soul Eater, however I think a reboot is in process currently. School Rumble 2nd season is pretty good too.

That's how I felt but I'll probably sit down and give it another shot seeing as it's only 6 episodes. I never really understood what's so great about Suzumiya outside of the OP. Maybe it's just not for me... I do like the animation studio's other works like Air.
Do you guys recommend Gurren Lagann?

I've heard positive things about Gurren Lagann, but I haven't seen any of it (damn year 12).
Oh here is a must recommend Trigun, think of a anime western that features a hilarious yet tragic potagonist. He has a giant bounty upon his head, but is a master of gun-slinging even if you call him an idiot. My description does not give it justice (really need to get better at that) anyway the protagonist is like Ragna from Blazblue except less angry and more happy go lucky.
You could also watch Pokemon , however Black and White's team Rocket is pretty sweet though. Full Metal Alchemist is great too, Brotherhood is more serious and has more action while the other has more exposition on characters that are totally awesome (Hawkeye, Hughs).
I could help more if I knew what in particular you're interested in (Drama, Comedy, Thriller, Action etc).

Gurren Lagann is in my top 5, seriously the most energetic mecha anime I have ever seen. It's full of insane energy, hyperactiveness and offbeat style. It's pretty insane and thoroughly entertaining.
So yes, watch it. _________________

I've seen about half of Gurren Lagann, it's a pretty fun, energetic mecha show. Definitely give it a look.
Here's my anime list! I think I've done pretty well. _________________

I tend to like most genres but I probably lean more towards comedies (School Rumble, etc) and action (Gantz, Ghost in the Shell, etc).

Well Trigun is a mix of comedy, action and drama (on the later episodes anyway). School Rumble is great stuff, closest to comedy was Ouran for me but it's also dramatic. Man, my memory is hazy back 3-4 years ago I had heaps, suppose that's due too mainly watching dubs now.
If I'm allowed to spin into cartoon territory, Megas XLR is a hilarious show that reflects gamers, giant robots, aliens. Zoids New century and chaotic century are good as well. There is also Afro Samurai which is like Gantz in a few areas (fighting to survive).
Holy crap there is a Xenosaga anime , I just found what to watch after Baccano, currently on episode 3. "We will be the 1st people to steal from the Earth"

My brother tells me that Trigun is a great, light hearted action show. So, you may just like it, Pagan. I might check it out myself! _________________

Did a recent rewatch of Trigun with the girlfriend, me mentioning it's light hearted and cheery... but actually in a way it was a lot more depressing than I remember. Still, definitely worth a watch though.

Trigun gets a bit more serious as it goes on, and there's at least two genuine tear-jerking episodes in it.
The movie is well worth watching too. It's basically like an extended episode, and slots in somewhere around the middle of the series. _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman

It was part of the anime festival at the local cinemas here, my friend really enjoyed it.
Redline reminds me...who here has seen Air Gear?

They had an anime festival here as well. Summer Wars, Evangelion 1.0, 2.0, Redline and King of Thorn. I missed it though which is a shame. Hopefully it's not a one off thing.

There's not that much ecchi in Redline and most of it is suggestive... I thought Redline was pretty good and I believe Benza really really enjoyed it.
I've only seen a few bits and piece of the Air Gear anime, I mostly read the manga, cause it's done by Oh Great (Tenjho Tenge). I haven't read the latest tankoubon (vol. 33), I'll pick it up when I go back to Japan. I think Air Gear is pretty good but I prefer Tenjho Tenge. Air Gear has more comedy and more light hearted, of course. A title being from Oh Great there's a lot more ecchi in the manga compared with the anime. _________________

Redline is great. We were going to show it at Manifest, but Madman pulled it on us at the last minute. Still worth seeing, though. _________________ Twitter | XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: stormo | GameCentre/Steam: StorminNorman
