^^ Makes me think that it would be great if ALL planned DLC was included in collectors editions. Makes the investment for fans worth while whilst leaving the unsure to pay roughly the same as early adopters through a later download ensuring neither party is nickel and dimed.

It will never become the norm. Why would the publishers do it when they know that the hardcore fans who would purchase the collector's edition would also most likely buy the dlc anyway?
