I don't get it. I put in a birthday and then it took me to the main page. What quoted thing do I put in the address bar? I put "javascript:var n = function() {setInterval(mg.hint, 2000)}; n()" and it did nothing then tried adding onto the end of the site url and it says page not found.
Edit: Nevermind, I wasn't looking hard enough . |
So did you get it working once you do it will ask for a email and bingo you will get it! Yeah i meant once you get to the next screen after birthday replace the link in the web address and put that code in. Then you will see something flashing click on it and bingo thats one and it will go to the next one and another should start flashing and so on _________________

Looking forward to giving this one a go I liked Demon's souls but it had a number of issues with not enough detail on the mechanics of the game without playing it with a guide, and some enemies were too randomly designed to defeat in a fair manner.
Hope this game addresses those issues whilst remaining hard and challenging!

Yup, I got the code via email. I bet it's going to be something like a "grass set" but I'm hoping for some unique armor. It would be cool to wear armor that barely anyone else has.

Thanks, John Marston!
It didn't seem to want to work on Mozilla for me, but that method worked fine in Safari.
I doubt it will be anything that amazing, but still good to have.

except there's no mp bar anymore, might not even be practical to be a mage build with having to find a bonfire to replenish spell usage. _________________

That's why it's so good.
Not sure what to make of the bonfire system though. Either way, this game will be awesome. I think my Japanese copy might be shipping early. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I think mages will still be a viable option, possibly a little gimped though. There are over 60 spells/miracles!

That's one of the best ways of handicapping early birds ever.
Really want this game but also really lack the time and money. Aaarrghh. _________________

For those dying to play this, like me, the following is a link of some gameplay video.

I watched like 5 seconds of the video and then closed the window. I want to experience it all for myself first-hand.
I think I might need to wait for Play-Asia to get more stock in before my copy ships. If this is true, I think I might cry.
I've been impatiently awaiting the 22nd for about two weeks already. (It's been longer really, but the looming release date has been taunting me.)

I would pretty much have to disagree with that whole statement. With suitable equipment/soul level and a good strategy, I can kill anything in the game with ease. None of the enemies feel randomly designed to me. Examples?
I read through the whole DS instruction manual before playing, and it already had too much information for me to take in at the one time. I guess the weapon upgrade system could of been detailed, and the character equip menu was confusing at first, but apart from these I had no problem. Half the fun of DS is discovering new things anyway.

I agree with this, i didn't really find anything that i had issues with. I managed to defeat the game twice without any use of a game guide....i think the more you played it, the more apparent things became which to me was what made it so damn good.
Things weren't rammed down your throat, and you got the gist of the world just by playing it enough. _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill

Best news I've heard about Dark Souls; no geckos There is a replacement creature but hopefully they won't be as annoying as those blasted geckos
