Meh. If this has to come out to support some of the biggest games it just shows the 3DS design failed from the start.
Seriously, how could Nintendo not have included it in the original design? Obviously gamers and developers alike had expressed their concerns prior to the 3DS release.

How heavy is it going to be considering you have to put a battery in it? @_@ At least it's not expensive, but I think I'll wait for the 3DS hardware revision, assuming they will build it in.

I've been saying for years that Sony should have made exactly this add-on for the PSP (except with 2 proper dual shock sticks, not those fiddly, slidey, nubby things).

I think I'll wait for the redesign with better battery life and the second analogue built in, before I get a 3DS. There should be more choice of games by that point to.

It looks horrible and I can't see myself ever using it in public (not that I ever use my 3DS in public anyway), but if it makes the games easier to play then I won't say no. Also I wonder if it will come in blue? Black might look a bit odd with my blue 3DS.
