Hooray for new Fire Emblem! Hopefully they'll localise it. _________________

Well I don't think a hardware revision will be on the cards anytime soon considering Nintendo Japan just announced a new colour, "Mystic Pink" due for Japanese release on the 20th of October.

So, nintendo is making first party titles for Japan. Capcom has come on board with a monster hunter & peripheral support and neither is due to 2012 (in Japan) with other 3rd party titles cancelled or postponed (tales of abyss is rumoured to have jumped). So why should us (region locked - and missing out on titles as a result - such as DS:overclocked released recently) PAL gamers care? _________________

Yeah, I'm 100% certain we won't see any of the titles shown here. Stuff like Mario never leaves Japan, right?
Anyway, Mario Land, Mario Kart, Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion and now a new Mario Tennis? God damn you Nintendo, I already see more must-have titles on this console than on most consoles, and we haven't even left one franchise. _________________

Don't forget that it's Tokyo Game Show time, this is Japans big week and there is hardly ever anything announced or shown off with consideration for the west. _________________

Oh, look at these exciting games! Mario, Mario, Mario, Mario. Ugh. Come on Nintendo, try harder. The only Mario related game that I can see myself buying is Luigi's Mansion, because it's the only game that's remotely original. _________________

I don't understand.
Nintendo have a platformer, a racer, a sports game, an RPG and a... I don't know... survival horror game I guess... coming out. Who cares if they've all got Mario in the title? They don't play similarly at all.
Its especially strange coming from an avid Final Fantasy fan. _________________

My point was that none of this is likely to take effect for at least 6 months here (if at all for 3rd party titles) - PAL regions need attention...... _________________

Well in that case you'll just have to hope that amidst this aggressive push from Nintendo the tail of the organisation (Nintendo Australia) wags at least once. _________________

That Spirit Photo game looks like a neat idea, and would probably be pretty cool given the Fatal Frame team is behind it. Unfortunately Nintendo sucks, and I cant see it ever getting localised. It comes with an AR book and all . _________________
