Here's one that comes highly recommended and at just 99c, its an absolute steal: Kula Blox.

Made by Transgaming Studios; authors of the excellent Garage Inc., Kula Blox answers the age old question of what would happen should a plane full of crated animals crash.

You get to pick an animal at the start of each level (I use the term 'animal' loosely as these little critters are in the form of cute cubed cartoony caricatures called Blox) and it's your utter goal to eat the critters smaller than you whilst you're all falling through the air. Ofcourse, bigger animals fall faster and will try and chomp on you, so respect to the food chain is required until you grow larger.

To pass each level, there is a quota of certain types of critters required to be eaten, so culinary fussiness is encouraged. You control your Kula critter by tilting the iDevice of by holding and sliding one of your digits.

There's a wide selection of Kula critters to choose from (including unlockable ones as you go!) and apart from looking quite awesome in their Kula box shaped form, each Kula critter has the use of a special attack. There's nothing better than being able to pounce with the cheetah at super speed and make short work of even larger critters than yourself!

For people that cant wait and just want it all now, there is an IAP system to allow you to buy stuff quicker, but where's the fun in that?

Kula Blox has a simple premise but thanks to the beautiful hand drawn stye visual, the great themed music, and some really fun gameplay elements like special moves and powerups, this is one I heartily recommend.

Grand Theft Auto III is coming out soon, and it will only have support for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. Not sure if that'll change in the future.

Anything that is a Universal app (as in, the one download for both iPad and iPhone) that is known to take advantage of the iPad2 hardware - that's what you should look for if you want something that'll push the 4S.

My Xbox Live is the official Live right on your iDevice (free).

A worthy mention also goes to the recently released Mini Motor Racing ($1.99) by Binary Mill and who could forget The Bard's Tale ($6.49) which has been lovingly re-released on iOS.

Something I'm not yet game enough to try is Batman - Arkham City Lockdown ($6.49). It's by Netherrealm (MK guys), but the price tag is very high for a relatively unknown game. May wait for reviews to make sure this is it's own game and not a cheap knock off of the real thing trying to cash in on the name.
