This game is coming out only for xbox live arcade and PSN. Not a boxed retail version. It costs 1,600 Microsoft points and the 360 version will be the superiour version. That is all

Have to agree shadow that 1 is by far the better game. I personally found 2 really boring and extremely linear at least in 1 you could go fan out everywhere in the jungle and launch frogs. :P

This is based on?
Ive got both consoles, I've yet to see a game that looks better on the xbox360 than the ps3.

Stoked about this. I bought Crysis for $3 off Steam, but I don't have a high-end gaming PC, so this version will do.
Loved Crysis 2.

What strange reactions from some members of the PALGN community, how could this be a bad thing, console gamers getting the chance to play the 1st Crysis?
Chip on the shoulder comments from the PC Super-Race Gamer Elitists are nothing new though I suppose

Damn straight. PC is the best for a lot of reasons, highly recommend crysis 1 though. console gamers are lucky to see this gem, if only at maybe 80% of its glory and reworked effects.

True, well the majority would look better on ps3, but i suppose its more of a developer issue really. Each console has very different specs and requirements for making a game, I have read that ps3 games are especially hard to make over other consoles.
