So I won an evening with ID Software in Sydney...

Ok, I just found out that I won this.

"Congratulations, you've won a double pass to go see Tim Willits speaking about the past, present and future of video gaming - and what's in store for id Software and the eagerly-anticipated release of RAGE."

It is an evening with ID software people discussing their history and stuff regarding the release of their new game Rage. I live in Melbourne and figured I'd easily be able to go to it but we have something very important on at work that day that I cannot miss… It seems to be in the evening so maybe I can still get a flight, but I probably cannot.

I will email to find out what time the event starts / if i can transfer my tix to someone else. If I cannot attend I'd like to give the opportunity to some other members of this site (or if someone on my facebook wants it and can actually get there… I'll let them take it)

People can express interest / if you are a writer here for PALGN or another site or something, then that'd be kinda useful.

If I cannot attend and send someone else from PALGN and they score any free stuff at the event… could they maybe let me keep it? I'd really like to go but I don't think the logistics are possible. If I'd had more notice or something (it is 4 days away, this Wednesday night at the Sydney Opera House) one of my friends is sussing out flights and stuff now, if it doesn't cost us a crazy amount then yeah we'll go. otherwise. express interest here. sorry if I get anyones hopes up or anything. but since I don't have much time to organise myself uhh I need to get my backup plan on here going…

i almost had something sorted. cheapish flights etc. could arrive at 5pm sydney but i can't leave work early. worst day possible for it to be on.

trying to see if one of my friends can take his brother or another friend of mine or else this will be up for grabs. did either of you guys have any friends that would want to go with you if my friends can't make it?
