I can't interpret all that VGA S-Video crap; will my Xbox 360 come with a SCART cable or not? icon_confused.gif

As for the rest, looks fine to me. Nice inclusion of wireless controller and headset, too; lucky I don't need the wireless adapter and remote control. icon_smile.gif

Well if it didn't it would be useless for like 90% of us, although VGA sounds cool.

It only comes with standard composite cables... icon_mad.gif

I thought they would at least put component/full pin scart cables in the box for this generation of consoles. icon_confused.gif

I gave myself a hell of a gash with one of those controller packages icon_razz.gif

VGA for me at this point I'd say, depending on whether or not I can find a good switchbox for component devices.

What happened to 802.11g? They said Wireless 802.11a, b, and c. I don't even think that there is a 802.11c. Anyway, most people have Wireless G over Wireless A or B.

Never heard of a c network either... Most g networks are backwards compatible with a or b, mine is anyway. That shouldn't be an issue. The PAL Xbox wasn't HD compatible, they screwed us over big time. Hopefully those Microsoft bastards don't repeat the insult.

And that $300 price, Australian or US?

I expect it's miscommunication somewhere along the line - it probably is a,b and g.

Apparently these are the cables that come with the console;

So it incorporates composite AND component.

The type of video signal you get with the cable that usually comes with consoles, single rca cable with a yellow plug (with an additional scart plug in Europe). Gives an absolutely horrible image quality. They could at least have shipped the current gen of consoles with a full pin rgb compatible scart cable in Europe (not HD compatible (I think), but a lot better than composite).

mrcivic: That looks interesting. I really hope we get that with the European console too.

There's no way I'll be using composite (SCART) cables for Revolution, and nor would I with Xbox360... after seeing the quality you get with a component RGB signal icon_kero.gif
I'll brave the rest of this generation with my out-of-the-box SCART lead, but I'm not going to be using it next-gen, for sure icon_lol.gif

Someone told me that the yellow one was component so now that makes sense. icon_wall.gif icon_wall.gif icon_wall.gif
