That would have been a definate if I hadn't got it the day it was launched on the eshop . I settled on Donkey Kong and Soul of Darkness for some good old fashioned Gameloft/Castlevania rip-offery. _________________

I think it's a perfectly viable way to avoid anyone who bought the 3ds after the price drop to see games on the eShop they can't download.
They could've make it much much worse. _________________ "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."

My 3DS has sat next to my computer completely dead for a week or two now, guess I'm gonna have to charge it up tonight in preparation for these games. Hopefully they aren't disappointing.

I beleive so. The planned GBA games Im assuming will be out later this year (which is what nintendo said). My guess is late November / early December.
I'm not really complaining. I'll grab Zelda I and II, Mario and Metroid. I don't really know much about the other games, I never played the nes, only the snes onwards.
To me, it's better than nothing. _________________ "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."

So according to EBGames, we won't be getting these until tomorrow morning since it's based on a US release schedule. (#&*$

I dunno...
Even Zelda is really showing its age now (and not in a good way). It ain't no ALttP or Link's Awakening. _________________

But the US and Japan already have the games... as of yesterday...
UPDATE: Check the e-Shop, I'm currently downloading Super Mario Bros.
Update II: hahaha, it took about 10 seconds... hard to fathom a game being soooo tiny. _________________

Just downloaded all 10 titles from the E-Shop, plus the Ambassador Certificate which I hope will enable me diplomatic immunity next time I break the law...

SMB with the analog pissed me off. Got to 8-2 without dying and then got squashed while trying to do a normal little dodge.
Games are in 60Hz (proper NTSC speed) which is nice.

I downloaded them. After that, I think I would prefer a $100 instead. _________________ Shin J Leon.

I would love to know if part of the reason for lack of third party support for the 3DS is the extra cost of localising that now HAS to be done due to region locking, and on the other side of that coin how many sales are lost due to cross-region imports no longer occuring. _________________

Playing LoZ after OoT 3D...let's just say it's VERY old-school by comparison.
These NES titles are a nice diversion, but the real party starts when we get those GBA games ~ _________________

I started playing Metroid on the 3DS when I got home drunk last night, or this morning, or whatever. It was glorious. _________________
