So there's no way for us to get the discount cards? |
Of course there is. Apply for a job & get a permanent part-time contract... |
Today: Send Resume/CV to BigW
Tomorrow: Interview session
2 days later: Got the job
3 days later: Time to purchase PS3 for $250
Next Monday: Give resignation later
Starting Monday: Enjoy the PS3 |
If it's anything like coles, there's a 3 month period you have to work for before you get the discount card. |
Wow, I didn't know Coles even did that. I've never met anyone who wanted to work there for the discount.
I got my Woolies discount card within a week of starting there. So hopefully Big W would be similar! _________________

they usually do. Prices are usually in-line with zavi (sometimes cheaper e.g. pirates carribean 3ds) and they have running system days (ps3 mon, 360 tues, wii wed etc) - its worth adding to your price check list (or use gamecafe) _________________

Their prices are inline with zavvi as they are operated by the same company _________________ RIP Buddha 19/10/1952 - 03/01/2004

Huh... that would be worth it just for the three DLC packs that I don't already own. Nice! _________________

I am about to pre-order Gears of War 3 Steelbook Edition, with a 10% discount code from thehut which is approx. $61.45 - I was just wondering if anyone found it cheaper anywhere online?

They rarely give out vouchers. You could try checking their ebay store's prices for the game you are after. Often it's cheaper than their website price.

I know it's still early, but Dungeon Crawl has Uncharted 3 pre-order for $75.90.
Yeah, you can find it cheaper if you import, but this is the cheapest price I can find in Australia right now, for those who must have it day 1.[/url]

about 2 -3 weeks pending on the the size of the package , ages ago before the "boom" in imports struck id get things from them in 9 days tops _________________
