I would like to but I don't have a 3DS yet. You'll have to tell us what this 8th day is all about and what the voice acting is like .
We just reached 200 pages, nice work everyone.

There's no announced PAL version, at least not at this point.
Yay for 200 pages of RPG goodness! _________________

Mine was shipped sometime last week! Can't wait to play it - never had a DS before the 3DS so should be good. _________________

I didn't think so (stupid pointless region locking) The original post sounded like they were getting a pal version after US players had "already played it"- still I own the non-overclocked edition and my trusty region free lite so not all is lost.... _________________

I'm going to bite the bullet and buy Xenoblade. I do want it but my backlog is huge and full of RPG's so I won't be able to play it for a long time. It will probably be cheaper when I get around to it.. But I want the controller.
I am sending my poor boyfriend into the GAME I used to work in as he gets my staff discount still and I think he is just going to send it over if they have it.. Otherwise I will order it online myself.
I'm playing Hyperdimension Neptunia. Why is this game so hated? I haven't had a problem with it so far? I think it's pretty funny and I've no problem with the combat system either. It's underrated for sure. _________________

It's not a bad game, I mean the characters and dialog are fun to listen to and read. But the gameplay is pretty average in my opinion. You only get a world map and from that all you do is explore the same-ish linear dungeons (usually caves and warehouses *yawn*) over and over. It wouldn't be so bad if the music was nice but even that is pretty bad. The animation of the battle system are overly long and they even put in an "L2" skip button. I don't get why I need to keep hammering the skip button during battles just so I can get an S rank on the missions.
Hyperdimension Neptunia MKII seems to have fixed most of the issues I had with the first game though so I'm pretty hyped if and when it gets localized. I'll definitely be picking it up.

You should had preordered it from GAME sooner so your boyfriend could have picked up the 3 tubed signed Xenoblade posters since it's a game.co.ul in-store offer only, hell I would have paid you $10 for each of them XD Oh well. Xenoblade kinda pulls you in, just like Radiant Historia on the DS, it's hard to throw it too far back on the backlog as once you start you want to see what's going to happen next. _________________

Oh that is true. It isn't that great of a game and further into it I'll probably find it tedious. I still don't think it justifies the score it got. Though if the second one fixes the flaws in this one, I'm keen to pick it up .
As for Xenoblade.. I wasn't going to buy it until I had gotten through some more games so I never looked at the deals. Was that an online thing, the posters or in store? They might have some left as my store there isn't in a big city. Can't hurt to ask if that's the case.
Yeah.. Though I don't know if I'll even start Xenoblade until I've beaten a couple of other games. :l _________________

Yeah I completely agree, it's worth a 6-7/10 in my opinion.

I took a few games down to EBs to utilise their bonus 50% trade in toward a local Xenoblade preorder. The guy at the counter had no idea what Xenoblade was and I couldn't put down a pre-order for the game 'cause it wasn't in the system :/
On an unrelated note, I started playing Mystic Quest on the GB (AKA Final Fantasy Adventure). So much more fun to play than the remake on the GBA (Sword of Mana). It really craps all over it, except that using the items is very fiddly. _________________

I can tell you with 100% certainty that it is infact in the system :l. _________________

Damn... I was watching the screens as he scrolled through and there was definitely no Xenoblade on the lists he was looking at. I hope the guy was looking in the right place (pretty sure it was the list of preorder titles because it had the versions of Skyward Sword listed)
Oh well, I'll go back next weekend and see if they get any in-stock. Just a bit of a shame to lose the 50% bonus, but the games I was trading were pretty old and wouldn't have been worth much. _________________

Sometimes when a game is coming out soon it's taken off that list and we have to look up the SKU and manually do it if it's that close to the release that. That could possibly be why.
Though I haven't been into work since Thursday and it was there then. I'll check tomorrow :/
The weird thing is we were all sent out display cases for it so they should of at least have seen the title unless they didn't bother with it :l _________________

Cheers guys, thanks for the responses
I was in a bit of a rush, so pretty much just walked into the store and asked about the game rather than looking to see if they had anything on the shelves, which is a shame as I won't be able to get back out to the shops until the weekend. Just hoping the store here gets a couple of copies in so I can get a copy then... so keen to play Xenoblade _________________

on the Bionis's leg in Xenoblade which is very very similar to gran pulse in FFXIII open area with lots of enemies including end-game strong big monsters you want to take on straight away just to see how many hits you can take before you die (in my case 1). I like the whole concept of being able to see a vision of how you or someone else in your party is going to get pwned after another 10 seconds has passed then quickly doing something to prevent it from happening like putting a shield up or warning the dangered party member =p another cool thing is picking up an item on the ground and seeing a vision of it being used as a quest item later on. _________________

Yeah I even checked today and it's in street dates on the system and a SKU check can easily find it. So he could have preordered it from that!
Too bad you can't get back before September 1st! _________________

I find this funny, isn't it just a gravure idol prancing around for 70 minutes?

that's what someone else said on another forum and i wouldn't be surprised if it was how ever if that katoku article has an wight
"Keep in mind Another Take on Catherine has not been endorsed by Atlus, so we have gotten as close as we can to the source material without treading into dangerous legal territory. It is not a retelling of the game's story, but as the title suggests, another take on the character of Catherine."
it might be something a lil more then that tho it is incredibly cheap porn lol _________________
