Want. To play MGS3 (in its Subsistence form) with a smooth framerate and in HD is a dream come true for me. MGS3 was always a fantastic game, but hampered by a choppy framerate, detailed but blurry visuals and an archaic camera.

Peace Walker is the only Metal Gear game in the pack I haven't played, and MGS3 is the only one of the remaining two I'd really want to play again.

Does anybody know what price this is aimed at?

Thirty English pounds apparently.

So that's AU$110 RRP.

Cian, makes you want to weep doesn't it?

Jarrod, Dungeon Crawl have it listed for $63 and Play-Asia have the US version for $49.

Definite day one purchase as far as I'm concerned. My only issue is whether I'll play them in chronological order or in the order of release.

excited to get peace walker on PS3. It just doesn't work too well on PSP, i tried changing the control schemes but the lack of a second analogue stick was still too detrimental.

im not srue it matters considering the 3DS version is just a shoddy blurry PS2 port.

MGS3 is one of my favourite games of all time, but I never got my hands on Subsistence. Day 1 purchase.

hard to answer... if they'd included MGS1 as well, i'd have said play in release order, but without that, it's not so easy.

other than the controls in MGS2 should still be the old-school layout, which does work fine in the corridors, but does still feel archaic compared to MGS3S's camera - so i'd probably suggest playing 2 first.

Oh I've played them all countless times, it's a concern of how I want to replay them in HD. If they remade MGS1 for this collection I'd definitely start with it and play the games in order of release as I still rate it the best in the series. Sure, there's The Twin Snakes but I'd prefer a HD remake of MGS1 without Snake being Superman and the updated gameplay of MGS2 stripping away any sense of difficulty in the game. Plus, I wouldn't mind having a fourth copy of MGS1, fifth if you count TTS.

It is a pity Twin Snakes is getting none of the fame.

Yes it it a tad too with its ridiculous matrix action scenes in it, however they were awesome to watch back when it was current, they were very impressive.

And still IMO it plays a whole lot better than MGS1 original. Would like to see it ported too.

I dont think Konami really give a rats about the 3DS version. It seems like a half arsed rush job.

That Dungeon Crawl link is quite the bargain, you only pay $62.90 from an RRP of $999.99. icon_lol.gif
