I think my motherboard playing up is a sign from the gaming Gods that I time is nigh and an upgrade is in the works in time for BF3. _________________

I've been wondering how the 6970 would handle this game maxed at 1920x1080. It looks intense, and I'd hate to not be able to run the best game this year decently, considering it's a big reason I'm building a PC.

Dare I say it...pretty tempted to buy a PC and learn how to use a keyboard properly to play this. That's how excited I am. Jesus... _________________

All footage they show is running on a GTX580, 60fps at 1080p. Should be fine!

If you ever decide to let me know or ask away in the PC builder thread. We'd be happy to help and recommend. _________________

Does this use a leveling and XP system the same as BF:BC2? _________________

You could probably use a pad too if you're feeling blasphemous. Most PC games these days come with native pad support, especially if they're multi platform. _________________

Is it maxed?
EDIT: Hrm, stupid question since it obviously would be. 580 is a bit above the 6970 so I'd assume 6970 wouldn't get 60FPS maxed at 1080, still probably over 30FPS though, maybe I don't really need to go crossfire. _________________

I think there are more unlocks. Hopefully it lets you start with the basic's of the class though. Medic without paddles was just annoying.

Hopefully it will play okay on my new 560Ti, since I can max BF:BC2 with 4xAA and I can pretty much max Crysis 2 with those super graphics mods (but no DX11)

Yeah, the 580 seems to be better in all games, though by how much varies. Seems to change from 3-15 frames or so. Either way, should get at least 40 FPS with the 6970, which is good enough for me considering I used to be a "hardcore" console gamer.

I'll definitely be seeking advice in that thread when I purchase my rig for this game!

I would think that flying a jet would make more sense with a joystick/gaming pad, however I can't even fly a chopper in BC2 with the PS3 stick so who am I to talk! _________________ Contributor @ http://www.esperino.com/
