Yeah it's gradual, so only some users will see it so far. You'll get a button at the top of your stream labelled 'Games'. See next to the circles button?
I like that it supposedly won't be spamming status updates like Facebook =P

Is there a way to give people on google+ Nicknames? I have shitloads of people from forums but I know them by there forum handles not there real names so I never have any idea who is who.

I thought I heard there was a way to identify yourself by circle level. I don't have access to Google+, so I wouldn't know personally.
I guess may have answered the next question I have. I was just wondering what the potential is for Google+ social gaming based on circles compared to Facebook. For example, would there be value in a PALGN social gaming circle, either for high scores in arcade type or social group gaming activities?

I'm pretty sure you could do that. It looks like all the gaming scores are going to be assigned in there own circle kind of thing, so there's probably going to be a way to divide that up into further circles... maybe?

I'm sure Google+ doesn't want people using nicknames and will actually boot people off if they don't use their real name after being warned.

That's signing up for G+ though - it would be nice if you could either assign nicknames or AKAs for yourself, or for other people. the account name will then still be your real name, but it would be nice to see everyone's PALGN name underneath - or if you play an MMO, it'd be good to have your character name underneath.

There is a space in your profile for Nicknames. don't know if/how you set that as a default name though, no one on my list seems to have theirs filled in.

While you can set a nickname on your profile, it doesn't appear as though Google+ uses it for anything useful yet (maybe as an ID for the games service?).
Best thing you can do is to put in a request for this feature.

So it won't even show up on G+ ...
Closest I can think of is setting your employer/company to your nickname so it shows up directly underneath
